Bought some ice Cream cup cakes for people at Church for there birthday's
You guys should be nicer to the staff
Went there with my wife and 5 kids on the 4th of July. Place was packed with people. Excellent customer service, surprisingly timely service with the amount of customers in the small lobby, and everyone in my family enjoyed their treat!!
Weird service!! I ordered a cookie dough blizzard and a man with a long ponytail was rude while taking my order. When I got my blizzard it was barely filled and was also barely blended???
Love taking the kids to Dairy Queen for Dilly Bars and ice cream cones. I really like the sizing options so my toddler can also enjoy a cone without it being ridiculously too much for him.
I stopped by for some ice cream, and it was really good! The staff were friendly and helpful overall. However, one person—possibly a manager came across as quite rude to the other employees, frequently bossing them around in a way that made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable. I definitely enjoyed the food, but the dynamic among the staff was a bit off-putting.
Fast service
Great ice cream and treats.

Normally we use the drive thru, but today my 6 yr old granddaughter and I decided to go into the store since it looked like no one was in there and we'd get our ice cream quickly.
We saw two people hustling to fill drive thru customers' orders; a man and a woman who may have been the owner/manager? We weren't initially greeted, but in a bit we got a 'be right there.'
After a minute or so I realized I'd left my wallet in the car so we retrieved it and came back in. The woman said, 'oh good I thought you'd left because of the wait.' We waited a bit longer for someone to take our order when a young employee entered the front of the building to which the woman behind the counter (manager?) called out, 'you're late; get back here and wash your hands.'
I understand it's frustrating to be busy and be short of hand, but I'm wondering if that kind of 'greeting' was appropriate with customers at the counter? We quickly ordered two medium cones which were the size of smalls, paid and left. We were still feeling a bit uncomfortable for the young employee who was dressed down in front of us.
Upon leaving my granddaughter said to me, 'next time can we go to the Dairy Sweet in LeClaire? They're nice there.' I think that's great advice.
A fun ice cream outing turned sour quickly. Is that good customer service? Is yelling at a young employee a good way to teach them? We'll be looking for a more kind and welcoming experience.
