Bettendorf Public Library Information Center

The Bettendorf library is a wonderful place to find great programming, book sales, resources, and good old relaxing. I highly recommend everyone to stop in and enjoy what the library has on offer.

This library is large and comfortable. It has great computers. So many comics I can't find in other libraries. It could use more art and comfortable chairs.

This is one of the nicest libraries I’ve ever been a part of! Very helpful staff, always willing to assist our seniors.

Great facility with spacious working areas, however the noise allowed is frustrating. Most of the loud talking is from the staff. When there are people walking around using outside voices, staff does not remind them to please be quiet. Please get this under control for others studying/working on projects.

Grew up in this town so I know the old library as well as this one which is a great space. Spacious and many areas to study in. Nice staff that deal with a lot of different types of people. I do however wish there was more control over the noise of middle school aged children and HS teens. I had to leave the other day due to the disgusting language and noise level of some 12 or 13 year old kids. It was pretty bad. A teen room had a ton of HD kids in there that were so loud .I think that area is great,but needs control.Stricter rules might need to be in place with groups of kids. Kids can have fun, but come on.

They are woderfull and so are the ladies on the front desk.

Super helpful staff, great books and technology and just a great atmosphere in general. Would recommend ?.

The told us we can't sit on the floor like it's their decision. We got told they provide furniture but if so why not in big groups? They are very unkind to children coming there after school, acting like they will just mess around. Example A, we were respectful and quite. And the day before it was just fine. I'm curious to how many more kids they affended.

For such a nice library, they have very unhelpful staff.

Great Library and Great Staff.

My original post had been an issue with consortium rules during pandemics and I just want to thank Bettendorf Library for addressing. I am one of those high risk people actively going through Chemotherapy weekly. It helps to have places that are able to accommodate to my needs so I can still enjoy what little freedom I can allow for myself during the pandemic. (Somehow I am that person that if a fly sneezes I will catch a cold ;)- just my reality). The library has wonderful resources to take advantage of and given that my family and I have benefited from those resources greatly we will be becoming members to support such causes in the future. Thank you!
