Smash Pizza Reviews
Is the pizza supposed to be burnt to a crisp? Thought maybe it was an accident.. but noticed everyone’s looked this way. Is this something you’re intentionally doing? I just don’t get it
Finally tried the pizza last night and it is excellent! Highly recommend! Great service cooked perfect!
Having grown up in the NYC area and traveled quite a bit, I’ve tried a lot of pizza spots in the Quad Cities. Smash is, by far, the best pizza I’ve had in the three years I’ve lived here.

Smash Pizza offers high-quality ingredients, from the best Smash burger in town to the Nashville Hot Chicken Sando with perfect crisp. Their deep dish and Sicilian pizzas are top-notch, and the in-house made pasta is incredible. The wood-fire pizza is the best ever tasted, with fresh and amazing ingredients. Customers often praise the delicious crust and the fried mozzarella and bread plate with butter, which add to the overall experience. Many recommend trying Smash Pizza for a satisfying meal, though some mention the wait times can be quite long, especially for pickup orders. The small environment can feel crowded, and parking is busy with people going in and out. The restaurant is not very kid-friendly, and some feel it could benefit from expansion. While the atmosphere is decent, service quality can vary, and some wish they posted their pasta options. Despite these issues, Smash Pizza remains a popular spot for quality food, especially the wood-fire pizza and the Nashville Hot Chicken Sando. It’s a reliable place for a good meal, even if it might not be the most memorable or favorite in the area.
