Best Italian food in Quad Cities

I am a lifelong Quad City resident. This is definitely in my top five restaurants in the area and the best Italian food in the quads, hand down. I know we've got Biaggi's and Johnny's....Trust me. This place is better at a fraction of the price. The pasta is amazing and the deserts will bring tears to your eyes. It's a little run down these days, but it's honest wear from decades of cranking out amazing food for affordable prices.

Due to transportation constraints we were unable to go to the actual restaurant however, when I called and spoke with Abraham regarding some discrepancy in the different food delivery apps, he was extremely accommodating. We are in town and staying a hotel nearby and when it arrived the food smelled so good. The accommodations were done exactly as we had discussed and the food was OUTSTANDING! If you come to Bettendorf definitely come here!

Thomas is a fabulous wait staff member - ask for him, you won't regret it- who delivers great recommendations and service. This is our go to almost every Friday evening. The salmon calabrese is fabulous! I don't eat salmon anywhere else; it's just disappointing.

I've been dining here for years, and every time, they exceed my expectations with consistent quality in both food and service, The staff went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable.
Our waiter (V) was incredibly knowledgeable and made fantastic recommendations. went above and beyond, accommodating every request with a smile.
She ensured we had everything we needed and made the evening special. This was more than just a meal it's always the experience that makes you enjoy the restaurant.
(Ask for V You won’t regret )

These guys are incredible, the best family meal we have had in a long time. Servers were laid back while being attentive at the same time. The chefs made everything perfect. I can not wait to go back. Thank you Gilbert you are truly skilled.

Good food, very good service, reasonable cost. Wine by the bottle is a plus as well as complimentary bruschetta.

We went here for our anniversary because a friend recommended to us. My husban ate the bruschetta (and he doesn’t do vegetables 🤣). It was so good. We started with the calamari, perfectly seasoned, lightly coated, and the texture...Chef’s kiss! Not too chewy, just right. We even made room for dessert and got the limoncello cake... 10/10 🔥🔥🔥

We tried this restaurant for our anniversary trip, and were subsequently nonplussed.
This was roughly an hour before close, and we were welcomed by a very dim and obscure scenery. The tables had tablecloths on them, but they covered them up with a paper film so the tablecloths didn't get dirty.
Why?
Why not just have the tablecloths off and utilize the wooden tabletops???
The server that helped us was very nice and friendly, though. She made the experience calming, and she was generally nice.
The food was very disappointing (we both had chicken fettuccine alfredo.) The chicken was excellently seasoned, but the sauce was pathetically thin and the pasta was... TOO al-dente. Food that was not as good as Olive Garden, which is saying something, considering Olive Garden doesn't serve proper Italian food either. But they charge Olive Garden prices as well, which is quite the one-two punch.
Overall, the restaurant itself is a sad state of things, but the friendliness of the staff is what saves it from the dreaded one-star.
