Visited the Saturday before Easter around 7pm, no wait. Food was delicious- started with edamame and our waitress (I forget her name) recommended squeezing lime over the edamame- which was great. I had the pan seared soy glazed tofu with Brussels sprouts- they had walnuts in them which was a delicious surprise! My dude had the yakitori chicken dinner, which were marinated chicken skewers and came with green beans with almonds and rice. We both loved our meals. We also split a Black Diamond roll. So good.Vegetarian options: Pan seared tofu with the soy glaze is amazing

I will not be back. I didn't eat 4 out of the 5 items I ordered. Went on a Wednesday at 5:15 pm. I ordered a piece of both kinds of tuna nigiri, the wagyu steak (which they were out of 5 mins later), skewers appetizer, and to replace the Wagyu I ordered the Pho.Skewers were good. But when the nigiri arrived I started to get worried. I took a bite and it tasted off. They also use wasabi to "paste" the fish onto the (not sushi rice) bed of rice. When we asked the waiter what he thought of the color he instantly responded that it was "darker" normally. I've eaten sushi all over and these both were "darker" than anything I've seen. I didn't eat them, nor did my partner. The waiter then said the chef found a Wagyu steak if I wanted it. Yeah no if it wasn't where it was supposed to be 30 mins ago I don't want to eat it after it mysteriously appears. My Pho then arrives at the table. I want you to compare the picture of my Pho to the menu. I ordered extra premium beef also. Apparently this meat comes in the soup well done, shredded, and you only get 3 slices of beef and 2 meatballs.I was excited to hear about a Japanese restaurant in the QC but again I'm let down by someone not actually knowing anything about the culture or food. I'll go get sushi at Hy-Vee or Kwik Star instead.$91 before tip and I ate almost nothing. I did enjoy my burger from Wendy's on the way home.I will not be back and if anyone asks I'll suggest any other Asian place besides this.

Love maddie on mondays! She is a great waitress. Also, intimate atmosphere at night. Very lowkey and delicious sushi. I get the chicago roll. All my friends agree its the best! My fav spot to go to after work ❤️ Thankful its opened late.

For myself, I ended up spending 24$ before tipping.Wheelchair accessibility: This establishment is wheelchair friendly. Large doorways, no harsh curb between entrance and parking. However, I did not use the restroom, so that is unknown to me.

If you love sushi this is the place to go! My son and daughter in law compared it to what they had in Hawaii and said it was just as good. We sampled a little bit of everything and nothing disappointed! Our fave was Black Diamond,the Big Chicago, Spider roll,Yakatori chicken skewers,tuna tacos,lobster crispy rice,Land and Sea, and even the Kiss of fire!

Every time I visit Yoso I try something new. I have never been unhappy with anything I've tried, and OMG they have Spider Rolls! I just can't say enough good things about this place.UPDATE 19 Oct 2023 - I went for Sake Hour at 9PM. Katie was the only employee working the front of the house. Bartender, waitress, hostess. She did an outstanding job taking care of everyone all by herself.UPDATE 29 Feb 2024 - Yoso is still killing it.

I got carry out of a few things I got before that were pretty good, but this time, it was not good. I got the tuna tacos, but the tuna didn't have the delicious marinade that I liked before, and the tuna tasted different (not in a good way) overall, but the slaw and crispy shell was still good so I was able to eat them. The most disappointing item was the miso wings. Not only were they not marinated, but they were not even seasoned. No salt or pepper or anything. Just 2 sides of a liquid sauce. I mean, am I supposed to mainade them myself?? On top of that, the wings smelled and tasted funny. For their prices, their food should be good and consistent even for carryout. Definitely money wasted.

The atmosphere is a massive plus to this place. The servers are reluctant to come see how you are and check on you but management saved it. The Yoso burger twice now, the bacon and patty are burnt like coal. They forgot the fries completely for the order. The karaage chicken and the Lamb chops are amazing, and have great flavour to it. I would recommend as a place to try on its better days.
