Picked up a peanut butter pie for my dads birthday Thursday… yesterday he asked my mom where I got the pie because it was the best he’s ever had. My dad was an over the road trucker and has been to so many places to hear him say this was the BEST made my day. Keep up the great work 🩷

So I recently cohosted a farm to table dinner in Elkhart and the dessert buffet, which was exclusively Home Slice pies, was probably the biggest hit of the event!
Anybody who knows me knows I love pie and have even won blue ribbons for the ones I baked for county fair competitions & the raspberry pie from Home Slice was truly one of the best pies I have ever eaten!
(and all of the other flavors that were featured were huge hits as well!!!)

So many wonderful things about the pie shop!! The owner, Laura is next level. She is the kindest, sweetest, most welcoming person I’ve ever met. She always has a smile on her face & remembers me the instant I walk in. The atmosphere is amazing as well. She really has a knack for all things. The decor fits so well and there’s a kid section in the back to keep your littles entertained while you down a pie flight. I’m a SUCKER for her French silk. There’s truly nothing like it! I’m not usually a crust person but hers is my favorite!! I will lick my plate clean every time. If you’re in the Bondurant area, it’s definitely worth the stop. Even if you’re not, it’s worth the drive over!! 10 out of 10. Shoot - 20 out of 10 if I’m being honest! :)

I can’t get enough of the French Silk pie. I am typically not a dessert person, but I’ve sent my husband there multiple times this month to pick up pie. I don’t know how they make it SO delicious, but the pie is absolutely addictive.

I put in an order on Easter weekend for 20 mini pies for my Gma’s 90th birthday. Somehow the date got written down wrong or there was some confusion so when I went to pick them up she didn’t have them, which I was okay with I said no biggy I know you are super busy since we also had a cake it honestly was no big deal! She stopped what she was doing and baked those mini pies and HAND DELIVERED THEM to my doorstep that night!! What other business would do that?!? She was amazing to work with and so accommodating! Definitely highly recommend!!
First time purchasing pies today 5-25-24. We had a date night planned so we came right when they opened and picked out a flight to enjoy after dinner because I had been craving pie for a few days. OMG.. these we so delicious and full of flavor! We will definitely get them again! We got Bahama Mama (our favorite), Dolly Partons Walnut (close second), peanut butter cream (this one was in last place for us), and classic key lime (3rd place and SO full of flavor). The service was nothing over the top but the girl running the register and grabbing pies for people was friendly.

Amazing pies! The crust Is amazing as well as the pie filling. I recommend ordering a blueberry/peach pie. My kids loved the personal size pies that she displayed in her showcase/cooler. This is a local business that deserves all the support!
