The food was great! The root beer floats, however were awful! We got large expecting the good ice cream filled floats. How wrong we were! They had very little icecream.By the time we got home it was all melted. Sure miss the days when we were so excited to get to go get root beer floats. Not anymore!! Very disappointed 😞

Not a very clean place there was food on the floor, Had to ask to make my order. Fries were hard and not that good. Sandwiches however were good! Also had nothing to dip our fries in.

Everything was sticky and messy. The soda fountain out on the floor didn't work so had to keep waiting for employees to provide refills. Not super friendly staff, almost acted like we were a bother. Probs won't be back.

03/31/25- First thing we noticed the restaurant is a dual place with Long John Silver’s. We walked in and stood there for 10 minutes before someone came from the back to help us. The burgers were a joke! patties were dry and tasteless, burgers so messy the outer wrapper had katsup and mustard all over it. My bottom bun was even toasted inside out. The staff were rude and lazy. Skip this combo of terrible food & service!!

If I wanted to wait 15+ minutes for my food, I would have just gone home and made something. My food would have been done quicker. This is supposed to be FAST food! No reason to wait this long in drive thru. Get it together.

Edit: At 20 minutes, after honking, they came out to tell me they hadn't even started making the food yet. Absolutely ridiculous...

Edit 2: It took 25 minutes at the window (after paying). I did not have a big order. Just 1 simple combo. A3, no onions or pickles. Go literally ANYWHERE ELSE in town if you want food at a reasonable speed. I should ask for a refund because this is just insane

Final edit: The burger was cold and the fries were stale so they'd obviously been sitting for a while

Always good. The Styrofoam cups are not strong enough for a large large drink. the cup break easy and the pop spills ⁰on my clothes and my car.. it is dumb to use styrofoam on a large drink.

9:20 p.m. after waiting 5 min in drive, no response. I saw an employee taking out trash and asked if it was open as Google pulled up open until 10 employees said no, we were closed. It's nowonder the place never has any business. Last time I came in a bit after dinner and there was an employee sleeping at the table. Unless it's a tax write-off close your doors!

Told us they were closing but website states they close at 10:00pm. Why would you close when this is the busiest time of the year with people coming to town because of the haunted house.

There is usually a long wait at this location, but we sat in line for 27 minutes waiting for a bacon burger and fries. Not sure what the issue was, lady at the window was apologetic but not the kind of wait you expect at a “fast food” location.

Wow , I should have listened to what people are saying about this placeit is absolutely positively terrible. My wife and I went through the drive through when we went to place our order. The lady immediately cut us off and stated that it would be at least 20 minutes. This was even before we ordered. I told her that would be fine we would wait. I proceeded to placethe order but was interrupted at least 4 times as she seemed upset or mad that we were actually going to order. Keep in mind this is 5:30pm! When we finally got to the window to pay , she was slamming drinks around and arguing was some guy by the name of john I believe? But this john guy also seemed like he was mad at the world. we pulled around and 24 minutes latter I went in to ask about our food? This John guy had a confused look on his face. Went back and then tossed me my food.For which was soggy, greasy and cold Except for the coldslaw it was warm. The Burlington Iowa long. John silver's A&W is most likely one of the worst experiences we have had in fast food. The lady at the window and I believe the manager name is john are truly disgruntled And the food was absolutely non. Edible, and most like not not high in food safety By the looks of how dirty the store was when I walked in.

Everything people say about this place is true! OMG its bad... BAD!! Not sure what was worse the staff/service or the fish/food?? I will summarize this review quickly. At 530pm tonight my wife I and I went to this store. When trying to order I was cut off by the gal working the window/speaker telling me that no matter what we order it would be at least 20 minute wait?? I told her that would be fine that we would wait for our food and I believe that truly upset her?? At the window waiting for our drinks and pay she was yelling at some kid working and yelling for some guy name John who was as mad as she was at the staff? After watching the gal and John yell and complain about the customers she grabbed my money tossed us or drinks and slammed the window?? I also want to note the place was a mess and I don't believe food safety is held in high regard with this gal and John. We pulled to the waiting area (The land of the Burlington Long John Silvers lost). and we waited...and waited...and waited.. after 24 minutes and watching the folks that were parked waiting when we parked go in to get their orders so did I.. I walked in to witness the window lady who was mad when I ordered arguing with a customer about their food. The guy name John stood scratching his head and hair and tossed me our fish diners that were already cold to the touch and grease soaking the bottom of the boxes. Cold food. Cold fries. Greasy fish. warm cole slaw dirty store. TERRIBLE management including mistreatment of the staff from John and the widow lady. 100% highly recommend avoiding the Burlington Iowa A&W-Long John Silvers at all cost. Disgusting store - Disgusting management - Disgusting food!!
