This is the worst pizza I’ve ever had! It’s even worse cold! I’m affirm believer in cold pizza is better than fresh. And I’m dead wrong with happy joes! The crust was burnt hot. And cold, it’s extremely hard! Not to mention it took FOREVER IN the store and they were not even BUSY! Should really change the name to SAD JOES. because there is nothing “happy” about anything. Sad part is this is the first time ordering anything from Happy Joes and will be my last. I can’t imagine what else they sell tastes like. It’s really hard to mess up a pizza but Happy Joes managed to screw that up.

We paid for the buffet that didn't have any hot pizza on it. The breakfast items looked like vomit. I had to ask for a pepperoni pizza for the buffet so I could atleast get my money's worth. I will never be back here again.

Pizza was overcooked and, as usual, minimum cheese and toppings, even paid $2 more for extra cheese, a $27 large pizza, should have plenty. Ordered during a slow time of the day. Very expensive for what you get, Cheese sticks were cooked well, but hardly any cheese as well, didn't realize there was a cheese shortage, I will be looking elsewhere for pizza in the future, should have taken pictures and posted them with this review.

Price is good, ~$10 for buffet. Something thats wierd is that the plates are at the place where you pay, not at the end of the buffet table like normal buffets. Gave a feeling like you are being monitored for food intake. I was there at around noon. I will give it to them, they had a lot of customers, but when a pizza was put out it was like they were chumming for sharks. I did go back a couple of times mainly because there wasnt much on the buffet when my turn in line was up, and because of that you had to take whatever was there. I got a piece of something like a taco pizza but was kind of grossed out when I found out it had mayo on it. I just think mayo and heat should stay in their own worlds but thats just me. There was kind of a fried chicken at the end of the buffet so i tried a leg. I think it had been there quite a while because it was pretty tough and seemed pretty over cooked. One of the stainless pans near the chicken had a noodle bake that looked like lasagna. It had little sausage balls like totinos pizzas have, but had a really wierd taste which was like a frozen dinner plus too much of an attempt to cover up something with overseasoning. I had one bite and then had to try one more just to make sure this actually tasted like I thought it did. It did. Sauerkraut and ham pizza, had it before and its pretty good, but this had a mound of sauerkraut on top, and this time the sauerkraut tasted a little off. The crust was good. I just got some lettuce and french dressing on the salad bar, but there was more stuff there that i didnt try. Like the fact you can go back for fountain drinks. Restaurant was clean and bathroom was clean as well. If it wasnt so crowded I think you will have more choices, which in this case would bump my score up a bit. Again, cant complain for $10 especially these days, you get your moneys worth.
