They tried to close a half hour early. All of the lights were off, and when we pulled up to the drive thru they said it was made to order, meaning they shut off their fryers. And they said we could order but they never turned on the lights so we couldn't see the menu. I didn't want them to spit in my food so we didn't order tonight. I used to live in Burlington and I'm back for family and really wanted Long John Silvers since they don't have it where I live. I'm very disappointed. Don't shut off your fryers and lights before the close time listed online.

They made us fresh fried and they were good!!

Waited 45 minutes for French fries as hard as Dwayne the rock Johnson. My wife’s burger looked like the nasty patty off of SpongeBob. Not to mention the limp dick bacon that came on it. Overall horrible experience. Would’ve rather eaten Lizo’s ass in the Sahara dessert.

Polite, employees and they try to go as fast as they can. I would go here again. excellent service the food was great. I would come here anytime.

Went in lastnight around 5:30 there was only one person in front of us in line and one person behind us so it wasn't busy..they took our order I ordered the chicken,fish and 3shrimp platter and husband ordered the 3chicken platter and drinks they gave us or drinks and said that it would be right out..we took our seat with our drinks thinks ok it's only going to be 3-5 mins for our meal since they weren't busy..well 35 mins later no meal and the people before us has got theirs..now the kid that took our order was bringing them out and at one point it looked like he brought out our order but he said it wasn't ours so we waited and waited he did this twice to us ..finally everyone else had their orders but us so I walked up talked to a young girl who I guess was a shift leader told her I wanted a refund since no meal was coming out and we waited 35 mins..she looked at my ticket and said the meal had been sent out 10 mins ago and the kid came back and said Noone was there..ummm yes we were there clear as day..any way she gave me my refund and we left won't be going back at night again..service was awful and kid he didn't know what he was doing and messing up orders left and right

Waited to be waited on. The only one in line. Ordered the 3 chicken 2 fish with green beans and Cole slaw. Side of onion rings . Waited for my food to only get home and find no green beans and no Cole slaw no tartar sauce. I paid $19.56. This was at the Burlington Iowa LJS on 12/8/24 @ 6:14 pm. I admit I was upset but spending that money to b e told come back in and we will get the rest. I didn't want to go back out. Jessica the GM was not very understanding. Very disappointed in the food and customer service.

This has always been my favorite restaurant since childhood( this exact place). Last 3 visits food was horrible dried out, over cooked tiny sliver of fish. Coleslaw tasted awful and fries are always soggy.

Pretty disappointing. We ordered a fish and chicken platter with 6 extra hushpuppies as a side. Those were missed and not given to us. The kicker is we ordered ketchup and tarter sauce also. I asked the guy if it was in the bag when he handed it to and he said yes. Zero ketchup in the bag when I got to our hotel. At least after what sounded like 2 tries in the kitchen my kids burgers were correct. Mobile order. Sad.

food was dry and hard by the time we got home...had not been cooked feesh even tho it took nore than 10 minutes did not give us any shrimp sauce or extra malt vinegar as we requested

Love the food, but I don’t love being charged for an order for pickup, only to find out 30 miles later, that the store is closed. Please update Burlington, Iowa’s location advertising hours and have it reflected in the app as well. If that happens then easily 4-5 stars.
