Easy to get to, plenty of parking and large dining/drinking area with friendly staff makes this a great place to visit. We did not dine but rather we were interested in doing flights. Beer had interesting names using the names of towns in the area making it fun as we were familiar with most. Our brews were really good and there was a wide variety to choose from. We will go back again and will to recommend the brewery.

I'm originally from West, Texas - a Czech town where "pivo" just means "beer". And I think that's a great name for this brewery, where the selection of pivo is HUGE. The most beer-savvy in my group raved about how each beer they tried was "on point", i.e. a textbook example of that kind of beer. My Cuban sandwich was very tasty, though a bit small. Our server was nice and did a good job. Although I didn't find a new must-have beer, it was definitely worth stopping by.

In the tiny town of Calmar, IA they're making some damned fine beer! Very nice facility, locally owned with fun art to buy as well as the usual brewery swag. We went with a flight, each different so we were able to sample like 8 different beers! All were just terrific! Worth the drive from wherever you are!

Owners were amazing! Food was great! Best soft pretzel ever! So many local beers to choose from! Gift shop was adorable with home made gifts, T shirts and more. Prices were completely reasonable!

Nice casual, quaint and quiet little bar. Clean floors too. Doesn't look like a beat up old tavern for an old place. (Don't know how old it actually is.) Visited on off days- Sunday and Monday.

Great service, food, and adult beverages! We started our day here and my friend had a flight of the ciders-they were delicious! My other friend and I each had a flight of beer. Lots of variety to try and find your favorite. We also had some appetizers-would recommend the delicious beer cheese and warm pretzel and dill cheese curds! This was a great start to our day!

The owner of this bar is a horrible person!! The rudest person ever!! I can't believe ppl even spend a dime in there!! If you drink Jameson don't go... she don't want that type of ppl in her bar
Stopped in during an off day. They were closed but one of the owners answered the phone and said “stop on in”. Once in it was like a private showing, got to taste all beers we were interested in... took time out of their day to help some holiday travelers

Do not go here! Management has no respect for customers and tells them ‘life just sucks sometimes’. Over charged and takes over 45 minutes to get a beer. With no apologies. Numerous of customer left while I was there and my mistake was not to be one of them!

Horrible customer service. I was lost and the owner came running out screaming as we were trying to find our way around. I apologized and she came and screamed that she hasn’t had any business and she didn’t want our cars there and that we were on “her property” and we need to leave. Just for being lost! If that’s how they deal with someone that’s lost I’d hate to see how they treat customers. I wouldn’t recommend.
