What a gem of a restaurant! My husband and I rode the Prairie Farmer bike trail starting in Calmar and returned the following day to try the Smoky Dough. The owners were absolutely welcoming and service was splendid. We each ordered a different pizza and they were both excellent. The wood fired crust was perfect, the red sauce was tangy and the cheese perfectly bubbly and golden. We will make a point of returning.

Don’t come here if you’re hungry. You’ll wait over an hour for your food. Ordered a pizza. One table ahead of us that was already getting their food. Waited over an hour. Multiple tables came and went while we were waiting. If the food takes that long, consider having more comfortable seating as its wooden benches.

3:20pm Sunday we drove by seeing the door was open we stopped , not knowing their hours , they came over and said they don't actually open till 4pm but did they say to come back in a half hour,no, they were so kind and let us order and the food was Amazing!! We will be going back many,many times to get food and ice cream. Thank You for the Awesome food and service.
