CARLISLE, Iowa — A Carlisle restaurant owner is facing several sexual abuse charges after he allegedly groped several teenage employees. James Raymond Hamm, 43, is charged with one count of third-degree sexual abuse, two counts of lascivious conduct with a minor, and one count of simple assault. Advertisement Court records indicate he is alleged to have assaulted four people. One was 14 and another was 15 at the time of the alleged assaults. Hamm owns Coco & Nini's Italian restaurant in Carlisle. Criminal complaints allege Hamm groped three of the victims while they were employed at the restaurant and would make sexual comments toward them. A fourth victim told investigators that while she was "blackout drunk" at a work afterparty, Hamm sexually assaulted her in the restaurant after others left. Hamm is being held at the Warren County Jail on a $76,000 cash-only bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 29.

I’m only leaving five stars because I can’t figure how to leave six. The best Italian food we’ve ever had. And the service was even better. Absolutely wonderful. Cozy place filled with nice people. We found this place on Google Maps as we passed through. Thank you for a great meal.

Great great great, food, staff, and atmosphere. It was bike night in town when we went and road was blocked off. Once we got there they told us of closer parking in the back to help out the handicapped people in our party.

Pasta very dry. Needs more sauce.

Finally tried this hidden gem last night. Food was amazing-our waitress was fantastic and the bus boy was so friendly and kept all our used dishes cleared off table. Great food and great service. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing food, drinks, and people!

Our waitress Amanda was the B O M B!!! Excellent service and spectacular personality. We had a small group of our Girls Night Out group and was seated next to Coco herself.

The Lemon pasta dish was rich and creamy with a portion size so large I couldn’t finish.

Gluten free pasta was why this place was picked and it did not disappoint. It was cooked perfectly and was mixed with Alfredo. Delicious and too much on the plate to finish.

The brown cake dessert was rich and the vanilla ice cream topper complimented it perfectly.

This place did not disappoint. Did I mention that a worker ran to the store so we could have several tequila and Captain sunrises.

If you want service, excellent portions, welcoming environment, and a decent price - you need to try this place.

Food was delicious, waiters and waitresses were professional and kind, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing other than the “corner” every 30 seconds of the servers rounding the corner in the back of the restaurant were they enter the kitchen. I suggest installing a mirror to avoid the audible disruption. It’s a family owned restaurant. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and it was phenomenal, I wish I would have gotten the shrimp in it! I would highly recommend anyone going at least once!
