“I love sister’s place for so many reasons. The staff is amazing. They always make my husband and I feel like we’re party of the sister’s place family. The food is also VERY good. Obviously it’s not Johnny’s but it’s the best bar food I’ve had. I love that they always do specials to change it up a bit. Gives me something to look forward to. Lastly, I love all the events from live music, to trivia, to music bingo sister’s place has it all!🖤”

“I love stopping in and getting a tea and shake. They are always so friendly and their drinks are amazing. I haven't had bad one yet. My mom and I would also stop in and get a Tea. My mom's favorite is their Bloomin. I stopped in last week and got their lemon meringue shake and tasted amazing very refreshing. I high recommend.”

“I don’t think you guys realize how hard it is to work fast food. A lot of you are so quick to have bad reviews or leave small stars. They have new owners now, everytime I come in here it’s great! Everyone here is so sweet to me & they work really hard, I used to work fast food & not everyone is good with a rush, you guys get so upset whenever you have to wait for long, yes it’s called “fast food” but when they have so many people coming in with only two workers, that isn’t always possible. Keep up the great work ladies!”

The cashier was super cool, helped me find something safe to grub on. And the food? Seriously mind-blowing! Fuzzy's DSM? Man, they didn't disappoint! I'm definitely heading back for more!”

“ChuChu Donuts is a true gem! They have a blueberry fritter which is quite delicious. Recently, I tried the maple cronut on a whim and found it to be light, layered and wonderful. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. ChuChu Donuts has become a must stop on my travels to Des Moines.”

“Had a great meal today at the AG. I had a pineapple burger and it was excellent. The group of 7 I was with had chicken, burgers and a club along with buffalo chicken dip and spinach dip all was very good and service was outstanding. We will be back”

“Best Mexican restaurant hands down. I had steak fajitas and my wife had Carnitas. Perfect blend of tender steak, pepper onions and tomatoes. All perfectly grilled. My wife's carnival wire crispy on the outside and juicy inside.. The service was over the top. Definitely give this place a try. I will update further after I tried more of the menu. Can't wait.”

“We were in Des Moines for a soccer tournament and ran across you guys. I was diagnosed with celiac 3 years ago and you guys made hands down the best GF burger and tots I have had in 3 years. That includes better than in n out burger since you guys actually have a bun and they don’t. It’s also the best gf bread I have found in 3 years. I hope to someday make it back again!”

We asked for a table in back as there was live music by the bar and we wanted to be able to talk together Our server was excellent - wish I had gotten her name Food was amazing - we got brussel sprouts, sliders, French fries w Parmesan, stuffed mushrooms, and spinach artichoke dip All came out timely and very good! We had martinis and all were very delicious and also came out quick I’ve been here about six times before and it’s always great Good patio area too Definitely a great place!”

“We chose Molly’s for our wedding cakes and boy did people really chow those down. The cakes for our guests were amazing, but our wedding cake was more than I could have ever imagined. They took my inspiration pictures and executed beyond belief. The cake was incredible to eat and to look at. We were speechless. I would recommend Molly’s for weddings and in general as all their items are so delicious. Thank you so much!!”

“We were out at an outdoor event in Des Moines. I took notice of an ice cream truck that was not familiar to me. Plenty of flavors to choose from and I was served promptly and with a smile. I could not believe that I could get the same homemade , creamery taste from a food truck ! It was amazing and my only regret is that I shared mine . Best I have had in Iowa and worth every penny , especially on a hot Iowa day!”

We spent the evening out on the patio, which had such a fun and relaxing atmosphere--it was the perfect place to catch up with friends. Even though the bar was busy, the staff provided outstanding service. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and we were impressed by how quickly our drinks arrived. You could tell the team genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. Between the incredible drinks, the inviting atmosphere, and the exceptional service, Hello, Marjorie is definitely a place we'll be returning to.
