“Fiss is exactly what every hometown needs. It's a fantastic spot with great food, delicious ice cream, and genuinely good people running the place. I could go on and on about how great this place is!
My personal favorite item on the menu is the Wisconsin Cheese Soup—it is absolutely delicious and a must-try. They also have great subs, tacos, and wonderful ice cream treats.

“I love sister’s place for so many reasons. The staff is amazing. They always make my husband and I feel like we’re party of the sister’s place family. The food is also VERY good. Obviously it’s not Johnny’s but it’s the best bar food I’ve had. I love that they always do specials to change it up a bit. Gives me something to look forward to. Lastly, I love all the events from live music, to trivia, to music bingo sister’s place has it all!🖤”

“I love stopping in and getting a tea and shake. They are always so friendly and their drinks are amazing. I haven't had bad one yet. My mom and I would also stop in and get a Tea. My mom's favorite is their Bloomin. I stopped in last week and got their lemon meringue shake and tasted amazing very refreshing. I high recommend.”

“love the atmosphere and service BUT I used to get the yogurt Parfe w granola,blueberries, strawberries at least 3 times a week for breakfast or lunch and they changed the recipe and are using strawberry sugary thick compote instead of just yummy strawberries . now I won't get it. wish they would bring back original recipe.. the chocolate mint pie is the best, love the chicken pot pie, smoothies, chocolate malts.”

“I don’t think you guys realize how hard it is to work fast food. A lot of you are so quick to have bad reviews or leave small stars. They have new owners now, everytime I come in here it’s great! Everyone here is so sweet to me & they work really hard, I used to work fast food & not everyone is good with a rush, you guys get so upset whenever you have to wait for long, yes it’s called “fast food” but when they have so many people coming in with only two workers, that isn’t always possible. Keep up the great work ladies!”

The cashier was super cool, helped me find something safe to grub on. And the food? Seriously mind-blowing! Fuzzy's DSM? Man, they didn't disappoint! I'm definitely heading back for more!”

We asked for a table in back as there was live music by the bar and we wanted to be able to talk together Our server was excellent - wish I had gotten her name Food was amazing - we got brussel sprouts, sliders, French fries w Parmesan, stuffed mushrooms, and spinach artichoke dip All came out timely and very good! We had martinis and all were very delicious and also came out quick I’ve been here about six times before and it’s always great Good patio area too Definitely a great place!”

“We were out at an outdoor event in Des Moines. I took notice of an ice cream truck that was not familiar to me. Plenty of flavors to choose from and I was served promptly and with a smile. I could not believe that I could get the same homemade , creamery taste from a food truck ! It was amazing and my only regret is that I shared mine . Best I have had in Iowa and worth every penny , especially on a hot Iowa day!”
