“Had a great time. Hamburger was above and beyond, real French fries ?. Tori did an outstanding job of serving us, my first time there. Nacho burger was excellent. Definitely a great place for a quick bite to eat if you aren't into corporate fast food, this is an ideal spot to stop and have lunch. Prices are reasonable.... $20 per guest, approx. Flor does a great job of making everyone feel ? welcome.”

“Bang for your buck, you can’t beat Tacos Degollado, just east of 19th n University in Des Moines. This place wins HANDS DOWN in my opinion. Always have gotten the “special” part of the order right for everyone I have brought there. No onions never had onions, no cilantro always without cilantro. You cannot beat this for the quality, quantity and price. In DSM, as far as our street food goes, it’s the best in its category. You won’t be disappointed. Mucho Gisto!”

“I highly recommend Black Cat Ice Cream! They have a lot of unique homemade ice cream flavors that are creative and seasonably appropriate. It’s a fun experience with the ice cream options and the atmosphere in the shop and outdoor seating options. I’ve tried their scoops of ice cream, and the ice cream nuggets dipped in fudge. It doesn’t matter what I get, so far I’ve been happy with my selections each time. If you love ice cream and are looking for something fun and unique, this is the place for you!”

“This place is so good!! Has many unique and delicious drink options. I got the Mexican chai latte with a shot of espresso and it was so good! Definitely coming back for matcha and other specialties. Parking is a little tricky, but does have free street parking. Also limited seating. Looks like a bright enjoyable environment to work in if your lucky enough to get a seat. All seating was full at 9 am on a Saturday when I arrived, so plan accordingly.”

“We just catered Cinnaholic for our wedding in August and LOVED them. We had the mini cinnamon rolls & cookie dough for our desserts. Shane sat down with us to go over our options and have a taste testing as well. The options were endless and the set up crew did amazing as well. Would highly recommend Cinnaholic for desserts for any event you may have in the future.”

“Phenomenal coffee. Had both of their single origin pour-overs, both excellent. Even stopped by a third time on my way to the airport. Love the glass reclamation project - glass is easily my preferred coffee vehicle so getting a glass jar to GO?? With a koozie to keep it warm? Perfect for a walk around the sculpture garden. “I've only been twice, had the peanut butter burger each time. The food is impeccable, I didn't think I'd like peanut butter on my burger, but now I almost crave it. It can get really really loud as it is pretty much a wide open space with open ceiling and tile floors, and nothing to absorb or deflect sound, and combine that with imbibing some of the best Iowa beers, well the volume can get distracting. Other than that, it is a great place to enjoy some craft beer made here in Iowa.”

“I hosted my husband's 50th birthday party at the Station, and their back room was having the Nightmare on Ingersol, so they had some tables reserved for us. We ended up with more than the tables would hold, and they did an amazing job of getting to people quickly, and made the night great, from the 8 year old, to the birthday boy with some people getting food, and getting drinks to everyone. “Absolutely delicious! I had the Pineapple Chicken meal, which came with steamed rice, crab Rangoon, macaroni salad & a drink. Hubby had the Chicken Katsu, which came with steamed rice and macaroni salad. His chicken was so crispy and delicious. We also split an order of Spam Musubi. Everything was amazing and both were large portions, we both ended up taking part of our meals home. 10/10 recommend. Great prices and friendly staff!”

“110% one of the best place in Des Moines. We got once a week (at least). Just utterly delicious.My go-to is the Missir Wot and Doro Wat with Injera. The mango smoothie is also out of this world.Do yourself a favor and try this place. Especially if you’ve never had Ethiopian food. It’ll get you hooked!!”
