“We were in town for business and stopped by Fierce Nutrition. We had such a great experience there and they were open on a very snowy day. We were greeted by Kendall, who was very friendly and explained the menu options to us. The protein smoothies here are so tasteful (and healthy). Try their shot teas too! I would definitely come back again!”

“My favorite boba place!! Both the Windsor Heights + Ankeny locations are great. Friendly staff, clean store, and amazing drinks. I am craving the Hokkaido Milk Tea basically all the time haha. The croffles are also delicious and worth the wait as they make them fresh! :)”

I drove from Omaha last November to pick up an order for my brother’s birthday. Four hours round trip. Based on the reviews I thought it was worth the drive. Glad I did. “Quirky little coffee shop with varied menu and inside/ outside seating. I had bacon quiche and a new-to-me drink, mate latte which had green tea, steamed milk, honey. It was delicious. The quiche was good and the crust was flaky & tender. There were great looking pastries and cookies there, too.”

“This is the first time in a very long time I’ve had exceptional service at this subway. The staff was friendly, my sandwich looks great, and they just all around looked like they loved their jobs which is so refreshing to see at this location. The man making my sandwich was dancing and singing and just made the environment friendlier than I’ve ever experienced. Not sure if it’s helpful, but one man was bald and one had locs, they both were very friendly. This experience gave me hope in this location again :)”

“Food was absolutely delicious! I got the Chicken Curry at mild heat and my fiancé got the Tikki Masala, mild heat as well! We both LOVED our dishes! Tased very good and authentic! Wait staff was very kind! They also do a good job wiping things down, being sanitary, wearing gloves, and then instead of reusable cups, they give you a water bottle! Would highly recommend and we cannot wait to go back!”

“After 3 years living in Ankeny we finally tried Nonna’s last night and wow the food is spectacular and the staff above and beyond wonderful! “Bang for your buck, you can’t beat Tacos Degollado, just east of 19th n University in Des Moines. This place wins HANDS DOWN in my opinion. Always have gotten the “special” part of the order right for everyone I have brought there. No onions never had onions, no cilantro always without cilantro. You cannot beat this for the quality, quantity and price. In DSM, as far as our street food goes, it’s the best in its category. You won’t be disappointed. Mucho Gisto!”

“So I haven't been to Tito's, but I threw them 5 stars for Atmosphere because the food and service were so good on my delivery order...I grabbed a Gyro, + extra meat... that was a mistake! The Gyro apparently comes stuffed from the start, because this thing was a monster! I also ordered sweet potato fries, and these aren't the normal skinny fries you find everywhere! Tito's has raised the bar on sweet potato fries, huge, crispy, amazing flavor!I don't have a photo... it was too delicious to slow down and take a photo.”

“The chicken over rice platter did not have that “New York halal cart” taste that Des Moines desperately needs. But was decent. Portion sizes were about average for the $14 pricing. My wife had a gyro wrap that she said was “ok” which ran around $11.Still getting 4 stars as I will reccomend it over the Mo’s restaurant that is nearby on 60th and Ashworth (that place is a ripoff on portion sizes/price) but the bar is low for halal options in the area.”

“Don't skip on the fried tofu. It's a yellow tofu and it has thus creaminess on the inside that goes really well with the sauce. Plenty of vegan options I got the bento box one had a little bit of everything.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options that are not vegan versions of themselves. Can exchange some items aswell.”
