“Food is always delicious! I went in after work on Mother’s Day to take home 3 orders of shrimp fajitas and the patio and tables inside were packed. Despite staff being very busy, I still got my order in 15 min and one of the teens working at the register checked on me while I waited to see if I needed anything. I’ve always had excellent service. The margaritas are delicious as well!”

“So good. We love it for upscale casual lunch and a wonderful dinner. Tonight my wife and daughter ate there. They had the chicken dumplings, carbonara, and the fried chicken salad. They said it was amazing. Best part? They brought me home a Waygu burger with Parmesan fries. So good!!! Check it out.”

Srikanth, the Executive Chef is definitely doing wonders and he is an amazing person!! Ravi is also a wonderful human being,another co-owner! The Veg Manchurian hits the spot, the Goat Fry Biriyani is truly amazing, the Apollo Fish as well as the Masala Chai! I am going to be a regular now! This is definitely my go-to Indian restaurant in the Des Moines metro area! Super happy! Super satiated! Srikanth is very passionate about cooking and that shows when you taste every item in the restaurant! It’s phenomenal! Do give it a try! You will understand what true Indian food feels like! 🫶”

“Huge shout out to Wasabi Johnston! My daughter wanted to go there for sushi for her bday dinner last night. I called ahead and asked if we could bring in a cake, etc... they were MORE than accommodating. They said whatever we needed! They kept it a secret until we finished our dinner. Brought out the cake, lit the candles, provided extra plates, a knife to cut it and were SO kind. Thank you guys all SO much! My daughter was thrilled (and embarrassed). Excellent dinner too!”

“The BEST Subway I have ever been to, EVER. It always has fresh produce and breads, the floors are always spotless and every single person working in there has a smile on their face when you walk in. I have tried many, many other Subways all over the US, heck all over the WORLD and this has been hands down the best repeated experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. I will gladly drive across town to visit this Subway. They are the best. Highly highly recommend for any other Subway fanatics that feel like the bar is at an all time low....stop in here and you will be impressed. I promise.”

“We held my son's graduation open house at The Cork 50131 & I couldn't have been happier. The space was perfectly sized & easy for us to set up. The bartender was SOOOO attentive & helpful to us in setting things up & restocking food as the party went on. The rate was reasonable. There was parking & an outdoor space but if it HAD rained, we wouldn't have needed it. Absolutely top-notch place to hold a grad party!”

“Starbucks was handing out samples in the Ivy store while I was grocery shopping. They featured a brownie that was absolutely delicious. They also had an Irish Cream iced coffee. I usually don't do cold coffee drinks but that one blew me away. Now I'm a fan”

“I was riding my bicycle with several friends from Johnston Town Center to Polk City. On the way back we rode over the Sailorville Dam and stopped in to the Boat House. What a fun time. The place was amazing and the free popcorn was a great surprise.”

“The crew working this morning was interrupted by me needing a sandwich communication was perfect I was fine with waiting while they got a huge order started. Once they got me going I always get the number one and ask for mayo but they always douse my sandwich in mayo this crew even took the time to spread out my guacamole. “We live in Ankeny, but very often drive to the Johnston Panera to enjoy our weekly coffee/pastry date. This location is obviously managed well. It is always clean and the pastries are not over baked. The coffee bar is also always clean as is the microwave. Coffee is always fresh and if it isn't they immediately bring out a fresh pot. Also this location seems to be well staffed! Our compliments to the management and staff of this Johnston location! Well done!”

“I had lunch with a friend and had The BEST tenderloin ever! It fit a good sized bun and was thick and cooked to perfection. Onion rings were exactly how I like them. Going tomorrow for brunch. I will have the tenderloin. Great place!”

“Cane's is SO good! Only reason I didn't rate the atmosphere is because I always do drive up when I get it. Obviously not something you want to eat every night if you want to keep your girlish figure, but so delish! 3 times in a row, however, I have not received coleslaw with my meal. (At 3 separate Cane's restaurants, so this must be easy to forget)”
