“The crew working this morning was interrupted by me needing a sandwich communication was perfect I was fine with waiting while they got a huge order started. Once they got me going I always get the number one and ask for mayo but they always douse my sandwich in mayo this crew even took the time to spread out my guacamole. The AI images (on the menu, on the website) has really been a huge turnoff when I try to recommend the place (unappetizing and sometimes cosmic horror-level depictions) to friends and family. The actual photos from goers does a billion times more legwork for convincing a visit.“

“I was in Iowa for a trip and tried McAlister's as it was near my hotel. The staff there are extremely nice and helped me get the best from the menu. I ordered the grilled chicken salad which was huge including an unsweet iced tea. I enjoyed the salad. I will come again to try their sandwiches next“

“This place has decent banh mi, but it is not a restaurant. Call ahead if you don’t want to wait for a long time. It is a house in a business district and they make the banh mi at home. The place looks clean and banh mi for a great price of $5 dollar. It’s a grab and go so there are no service.“
