Hungry Boyz Reviews
I moved to Des Moines from the Quad Cities in 2018. Hungry Hobo was my go to food spot before I moved and I am so happy that someone introduced me to Hungry Boyz. Their food is amazing and the customer service is even better.
What an incredible sandwich! The bread is so soft and fresh I love it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I really like that they serve Miss Vickie’s chips. The atmosphere and decorations make it so warm. I also like how clean the restaurant is. I’ll be sure to come back when I’m in the area again.
First time in quite awhile I stopped in the other day and grabbed a #11 with everything. The best hoagie I’ve enjoyed in a long time!
My last visit a year and a half back, I had the same variety of sandwich. Dry bread and the fixings were off. About wrote this place off. Glad I gave them another go. Keep doing what you’re doing, folks. It’s delish stuff!

Hungry Boyz is a restaurant that serves fantastic dishes, including the French Dip and Corned Beef on Rye, which are highly praised by customers. The staff, including the owner, are very friendly and helpful, providing great service. The atmosphere is welcoming, making customers feel at ease and wanting to return for more. The house-made dressing adds a special touch to the sandwiches, giving them a sweet tang that customers really enjoy. Many visitors love their sub sandwiches, especially the Lost Boyz and Hans Ruben, and praise the potato salad as the best around. The owner is attentive and often gets favorites from the back if they are out front, and the desserts, especially the cake, are always moist, flavorful, and well-frosted. The restaurant feels clean, comfortable, and has good vibes, making it a great place for a satisfying meal. Whether stopping by for a quick lunch or enjoying a slice of cake, Hungry Boyz remains a popular spot for delicious deli-style favorites and friendly service.
