“I received the wrong order at 1st but they made it right and brought out my correct order. By then I had enough soup and salad to not want the meal. Packed up my food and when I went to eat it later it was much too salty for my liking, but my young daughters enjoyed their food and especially the birthday cake they gave me for my birthday 🎂 I wanted a strawberry cake, they were out so they improvised with strawberries from the bar area. My daughters loved the cake. Great customer service by the server and manager.“

“GoodSons on Beaver Ave is the quintessential neighborhood bar. Have a seat, and you're surrounded by friends. Nice rotation on the taps, including many local brews, and a plentiful selection of cocktail options. The food is a delectable selection of paninis and bar favorites. Come in, have a seat, you are welcome!!“

“Me and my grandmother came In this afternoon, We ordered drinks the waitress She accidentally brought me the wrong drink, but she corrected it very professional. She was very sweet. The food was very good. I asked for well done chicken I got exactly what I asked for my waiter. She was wonderful. I would ask for her again. I think her name was Megan. She was very young. I haven’t been to Olive Garden in years, but people are sleeping and they gave me a free dessert for my birthday go Olive Garden. Everybody needs to come here.!!! Whoever was in the kitchen July 31 they need to stay in there. Everything was absolutely wonderful.“

“There is normally at least an hour wait but it is so worth it and I just always plan ahead when ordering from here. The food is always piping hot so you know it’s fresh! I get the dinner special with the Pad Woon Sen, pork roll and the soup! Absolutely delish and would recommend everyone try it!“

“I ate at the bar for supper and had a seafood pasta dish with salad and bread sticks, of course. The bartender was my waitress and she disappeared (no one else was behind the bar or checking on me) for quite a while after my food was delivered. I would have liked to had a water and some more breadsticks with my pasta, but that didn't happen. Overall, the food was top-notch and the service was marginal.“

“Even though this place is always busy, it’s still a Nice place to go have lunch. Easy to order ahead on your phone before you get there, and wait at a table till they call your name. Mexican Street Corn Chowder is absolutely amazing ! Definitely order every time.“

“I’m a new pescatarian but ive been a vegetarian for a really long time. It’s hard finding Chinese food that has all the great flavors but shrimp but wow does me eggroll deliver. Service was so nice, wait was quick. The food was amazing. Seriously can’t recommend enough ! :D“

“We live in Ankeny, but very often drive to the Johnston Panera to enjoy our weekly coffee/pastry date. This location is obviously managed well. It is always clean and the pastries are not over baked. The coffee bar is also always clean as is the microwave. Coffee is always fresh and if it isn't they immediately bring out a fresh pot. Also this location seems to be well staffed! Our compliments to the management and staff of this Johnston location! Well done!“

“Shout out to the Manager at the Panera Bread, north Ankeny. I ordered lunch for both my husband and myself off the kiosk. When we were alerted to pick it up, they just had my husband’s order at the kitchen counter. I asked if my soup was ready and they didn’t have it on the order. The kitchen just dished up a bowl and gave it to me along with the drink I thought I had ordered. I returned to the main counter and explained that I owed them for a bowl of soup and drink. The manager at the register said, “not today, it’s your lucky day”. I will be returning to this location for the kindness both the kitchen staff and manager displayed. Thank you!“

“I don’t normally leave comments. The AI images (on the menu, on the website) has really been a huge turnoff when I try to recommend the place (unappetizing and sometimes cosmic horror-level depictions) to friends and family. The actual photos from goers does a billion times more legwork for convincing a visit.“
