Good Omelets. Quiet surroundings. Service was very good.
The food was great and the staff was amazing, especially when we had an active toddler to entertain. Our group had mimosas and bloody marys; the bloody marys were spicy and delicious.
Best food in Johnston! We came for brunch and returned the next day for lunch. Great portions and plan on returning again!

The Happy Egg in Johnston is a restaurant with a great atmosphere and a clean and tidy location. The staff is friendly and amazing, especially when there is an active toddler to entertain. The food is great and good, with large flavorful portions. The menu variety is super impressive, offering items like omelets, tres leche, biscuits and gravy, mexican chorizo benedict, chilaquiles with homemade chorizo with poblano sauce, a chicken burrito with chipotle sauce, a Nutella crepe, and gravy over the fried steak. Drinks include mimosas, bloody marys that are spicy and delicious, house made sangria, a mocktail recipe, milkshakes, and iced horchata coffee. Service is prompt and attentive, and nothing is missed. The wait for Sunday breakfast is on par or better for the area. Prices are on the higher end, but the good service and extras like garnishes, syrup drizzles, and sides of greens and salad are noticed and appreciated.
