Wasabi Johnston Reviews
Huge shout out to Wasabi Johnston! My daughter wanted to go there for sushi for her bday dinner last night. I called ahead and asked if we could bring in a cake, etc... they were MORE than accommodating. They said whatever we needed! They kept it a secret until we finished our dinner. Brought out the cake, lit the candles, provided extra plates, a knife to cut it and were SO kind. Thank you guys all SO much! My daughter was thrilled (and embarrassed). Amazing food, drinks and Wonderful service by Joy! We love going to Wasabi Johnston for date nights and special occasions and have never been disappointed!
Wasabi's Johnston location is very similar to its Ankeny location.
It's the same great food. I recommend the Rock n Roll and the Honey Rainbow roll if you're going for Sushi. If you're going for a more traditional meal, the Tobanyaki is outstanding.
The atmosphere of the Johnston location is less intimate than their Ankeny location, but their drinks are better. The desserts are lackluster at both locations. Skip it and get an appetizer.
