We were out at an outdoor event in Des Moines. I took notice of an ice cream truck that was not familiar to me. Plenty of flavors to choose from and I was served promptly and with a smile. I could not believe that I could get the same homemade , creamery taste from a food truck ! It was amazing and my only regret is that I shared mine . Best I have had in Iowa and worth every penny , especially on a hot Iowa day!
Experienced what I believe to be the best Ice Cream in my time of eating it!!! This place is no where short from being limited to creativity and overall taste. Everyone that I’ve talked to about OTT Ice Cream has had nothing but awesome things to say and I can say that they were all right on point! Great customer service and friendly environment!!!
Dear Over the Top- I have a dairy allergy and you have made me the happiest girl ever with the most delicious chocolate peanut butter ice cream ever! I am forever grateful!

Based on the reviews, Over the Top Ice Cream is definitely worth checking out. The staff always have great attitudes, cheerful and patient. A fella on the bigger side with a big ole smile and beautiful braces was nice, funny, and respectful. The free sample scoop is a favorite detail, offering a chance to try unique flavors. The ice cream is rich, smooth, and packed with flavor, with generous portions and creative flavors. A new thing called the Chandler is a cup with three small scoops of different types of ice cream. For events, they did a fantastic job catering for 600 people, were super easy to work with, and everyone said it was the best ice cream ever. They also did an excellent job serving at a rollout, with a professional setup and friendly, efficient staff. The service added a fun, festive touch. It is truly one of the BEST ice cream options in the metro.
