We went to Happy Joe's in Cascade Friday night after the big storm that ran through Monticello and Cascade. They were very busy with take out orders so the nice lady at the counter said it was going to be a bit if a delay for our order. She offered chips or ice cream to our grandkids to make up for the delay. Thr lids took her in on ice cream but they had to eat all their pizza first. They did, and she got them each an ice cream. I moved to Las Vegas 28 years ago, and Happy Joes Taco Pizza is still my MUST HAVE when I come back to Iowa! (I get it without bean sauce.) There's nothing like it in all of the pizza I have tasted across the country! They have secret ingredients that's for sure! It is pricey, but it is pretty filling so if you split that up among 3-4 people it's not so bad. (Their lunch special with a personal pizza and drink is a great deal!)

Wife and I stopped by here on our way home. All the staff was super nice, had a nice talk with one of the employees about the things I do(am in a wheelchair with no legs) he was super and respectful and made great conversation and I hope he's doing well.
The music taste was also absolutely fantastic. Food was good, my wife loved her Mac and cheese and my wings were great.
