What a great little gem! This place is so cute and the food is fab as well. Simple and delicious! The crab louie and thai chicken sandwiches were both very good! The service was so fast and friendly, and they had such an awesome assortment of gifts and goodies! Cant wait to come back in the spring!!!

My family and I had a lovely time at Barn Happy! As out-of-towners, it was awesome to visit a local spot in Cedar Falls. We were staying at an Airbnb right up the street, so it was super convenient to stop in. We were greeted at the door by the friendliest girl who told us all about the space. She shared that it used to be an old dairy barn and they had a shop & restaurant in the main barn space, an Iowa local shop out back, and an antique treasure shop upstairs. She did mention that if we wanted to dine or sit for coffee, we needed to let her know ahead of time so they could reserve a table space, so keep that in mind if you're planning to stop to eat! We stayed in the main barn area and browsed the local shop finds. They had everything from Iowa-made wine, knife sets, honey, clothing, crafts, artwork, jewelry, and Iowa-themed goodies. If you are shopping for unique local gifts, this is the spot to visit! The shop workers were SO friendly and sweet!! They also made me a delicious caramel latte to go on my way out. I would love to go back when I return to Iowa!

This was a unique experience. The staff was super friendly. The desserts were to die for. We had pumpkin bars and blueberry cream cheese coffee cake. The coffee was amazing. We had the white chocolate raspberry latte and chocolate salted caramel latte. The shopping area had something for everyone. I definitely recommend this stop.

This is such an amazing place! We didn't explore the whole place but what we saw makes us want to come back for more. Their bake goods looked too good to be true. Unfortunately we were still full from breakfast so we didn't explore this. I found several gifts for future occasions. This place is worth the time.

Barn Happy was the best gift shop with Iowa goods and the food was amazing .They had a huge selection of desserts.Kris who is the owner of Barn Happy is very nice person. She is very personable. She checks on you quit often so does her waitress.Kris likes to talk to you.I will definitely tell my friends and family to go to the Barn Happy to eat and look around the gift shops. Kris does a really good job of decorating the Barn Happy the upstairs of the Barn Happy.The have a place that you can rent out for showers graduation parties which you can bring your own food in.The place is called The Crib.Thank Kris for a wonderful time at Barn Happy Melissa and I had a great time.
