Cypress is my favorite bar in Cedar Falls! The location is perfect, the menu is fun and always showcases tasty seasonal cocktails. I’ve spent some of my best nights Cypress, a staple of downtown cf and my favorite bar.
Over the last 9 years since I’ve quit drinking I’ve asked for mocktails/ virgin drinks and gotten countless weird/ confused looks from bartenders at other local establishments and usually end up with a Shirley temple (no hate to Shirley, but sometimes a gal needs variety!)

Was once the cool little bar in the Black Hawk Hotel but closed when the Hotel went the boutique direction back in early to mid 2000s. Owner moved the Cypress to its current location while trying to maintain the original vibe. It’s a decent bar with the 3 pool tables occupying a space about the size of the bar area.
