Was here on 2/17/24, order food at the counter, after 30 minutes, bus full of people came in (still not filling the restaurant), after another 10 we still hadn't got appetizers, while the bus was getting food. When brought up to the guy taking orders, he was dismissive at best. We got our meals over an hour after ordering.Tables sat for over 30 minutes, not being cleared.The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the young man clearing tables was doing the best he could.Total time at the restaurant, 1hr 30 minutes.

I ordered this for delivery. The delivery was timely and not an issue. But the FOOD?? I love Famous Dave’s and awhile ago, I had a terrible Cajun chicken, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt as I have worked in the restaurant industry. I gave them another chance today and am disappointed. My wings are gross. They either refried them after sitting, sauced, or they really just burnt them and forgot half the sauce. I’ve had these many times and these are just not edible. Black, dry, and honestly, they taste like leftovers from last nights shift. Awful.

Staci at Famous Dave's is the most kind-hearted person EVER! She saved our lives with emergency food while we were stranded and nearly freezing to death in this -20° blizzard! The food was so good and comfortingly warm, we actually cried while eating it. The dinner Staci arranged for us is the greatest meal our old haunted home has seen in several decades! Everything right down to their famous Devil's Spit sauce was so intoxicating that we had to stop and get the silverware out for it... and the GRILLED-CHEESE SANDWICH was the tastiest, most decadent grilled-cheese sandwich I've had anywhere! Our pipes are currently frozen and we have no water, so without Staci and Famous Dave's, we probably wouldn't be alive right now. For that, we are eternally grateful. I understand now how a hot meal really can save a life! I always like to change things up. So a friend and I went to the famous Dave's on University Ave in Cedarfalls. The service was great at first when you ordered. Once you place your order, you never see anyone again until your food comes, which I may add took almost 30 min. The flavor was excellent. The food was cold. Never see anybody to bring this issue to their attention. When someone finally came around, I had to get her attention because it seemed as an inconvenience to ask how food is. Now granted, when I finally got her attention, she sent a manager over and gave us a gift card.

Ordered carryout and it was ready really fast only had to wait maybe 5 minutes. The food was delicious. I wish that the dessert i wanted didn't have nuts in it.
Waited at the counter for five minutes, but didn’t get waited on, so I moved on… Maybe next time?
