I wanted to like Ginger Thai, but after several visits, I just cannot recommend it.
I've tried a variety of dishes - appetizers, entrees, and desserts - and each time I left more disappointed than the last. The portions are very small for the price, and the quality simply does not match what they charge. My most recent order of Pad Thai and Pad See U was the final straw. The noodles were bland, dry, and tasted more like microwaved leftovers than fresh Thai food; no authenticity.
I appreciate that they're the only Thai restaurant in town, but being the only option does not mean that the food should be this underwhelming. For the cost and portion size, it simply is not worth it.
Until there is a major overhaul and improvement in flavor and value, I simply cannot recommend Ginger Thai.

I’m visiting from out of town and was hoping for a solid Thai meal, but this place missed the mark. I ordered the drunken noodles, and it was a letdown the noodles were thin instead of the traditional thick ones, and the ingredients felt mismatched. The portion size was small, and surprisingly, they charged extra for hot sauce, which felt odd for a Thai restaurant. They were too busy taking phone order and I waited 30 min to get my food. They have 3 full size tables and one seaters by the windows. Overall, nothing stood out as memorable. It was a very average meal that left me underwhelmed.

Ginger Thai Cuisine Street Food in Cedar Falls is a must-visit! I had the Pad Thai and Thai Iced Tea, and both were delightful.

Love, love, love the yellow curry with chicken!! Always friendly service. Limited seating, so carryout is usually best. I just wish they opened at 11:00 instead of 11:30. I would go even more often!

Came here for lunch the other day with my mom after we were disappointed with a different restaurants menu change.
The staff were extremely friendly. They gave us a free sample of there new coffee they are launching. It's a small restaurant and so it was pretty warm in my opinion.
The food was mostly really good. The chicken is seasoned really well. The potatoes were really good. The crab Rangoon was extremely fresh and delicious. Unfortunately I was not a big fan of their thai fried rice. It just wasn't my favorite flavor or texture wise but the chicken in it was good.
I wasn't able to take a picture of my mom's entree but she finished it! Honestly I would go back just for the Rangoons alone. Definitely recommend it.

Went for dinner with a friend. It was busy. We were seated after a short wait. We ordered several dishes to share; crab ragoon, yellow curry with shrimp, cashew chicken, and another chicken dish with mushrooms and ginger. Everything was tasty. I really enjoyed the cashew chicken. The yellow curry had a nice flavor but was thinner than expected. I'll return to try other menu items.

This place has quickly became a favorite of mine. Everything i have tried has been absolutely delicious! The tom yum soup is a must have as well as the pineapple fried rice (I added chicken). Cute vibe for a little eat out action. My only complaint is hours are limited and I want to eat here 24/7
