Cedar Falls Store 1052 Pharmacy staff intentionally neglects customers health needs for their own leisure. They also request that you pay up front (cash) for any partial refill service, which is already covered by insurance. Once, you're told things are ready to go. You arrive and nothing is ready and they tell you to wait. Upon speaking with Ben, whose supposed to be a Manager, about the services not being completed as you were told. Nothing gets resolved. But Bens wants to loudly assert that all these services are "FOR FREE" as if they don't get paid by insurance and they are doing it out of good will. Exactly the opposite is true. Ben will make it seem that you are doing him a disservice and that he is paying you. He will not direct the other staff to do their jobs correctly or purposefully. So he allows the neglect to continue. But he does want everyone to know that what they are doing is "FOR FREE". This is because everything at Hy-Vee cost more than what they charge for their merchandise or items. It cost you your time, patience, neglect to your health, and money. So yourself a favor and just get services and merchandise elsewhere that respects you're the paying customer and want to just live your life without being hurt or abused by others.
Great store, friendly staff! I love going to Hy Vee when I come to Iowa.
Ordered a cake and asked it to be Valentines Day themed with happy birthday written on it. THIS is what I received. They totally just pulled it out of the case and wrote on it quick. Will not be ordering from them anymore. ☺️
Wahlburgers ordered, horrible customer service, onion strings were burnt crumbles, all food was cold, horrible customer service multiple times. Crazy how bad everything was for 1 st time ordering and the staff couldn’t care less.
Very rude staff.
It really depends who is working. The food is great, but Karen who works in the morning is one of the rudest people I have everseen. You can tell when someone is angry at the world for doing the same low wage job for decades. She is definitely someone who earns the name. The other staff are equally lazy and rude. Do not bother ordering food from here, as it will take as long as they want. Even with no other customers in the restaurant, I waited over 20 minutes, and the order was still not complete. They actually had the nerve to sneer at me.Overpriced and served with an attitude, this place only stays open because older people don't realize that there are now better options.
Very rude staff.
They don't have dine in anymore, and the lady at the bar was very rude to us. The food is good for grab and go but not dine in. Overall disappointed.
Every time I come here it’s always delicious. They have awesome food and drink specials! Mimosas with breakfast is my favorite ? Service is always good. They are very attentive.
Really enjoy coming to Cedar Falls Hyvee Market Grille! Please bring back the door that used to be there upon entering from grocery side. Great breakfast!

The Hy-Vee Market Grille in Cedar Falls used to be really good and very busy. They made some changes and the food service is horrible. We had waited for over an hour for a very simple food order. The restaurant was not very busy and they kept telling us, it would be 10 more minutes. We finally just left the restaurant. It has gone downhill horribly.
My first few visits to the Market Grille were fabulous! Loved the place! This time, not so much. My son had warned me they had cut back on menu items, that was an understatement. There was ONE person working. She covered the jobs of Waitstaff, Bartender, Cashier for the full service and for the self service. That's another thing... it's a restaurant. Self Service? Isn't that what my kitchen is? On to the food... My husband ordered a burger and fries. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with hash browns. He had no complaints about his burger. My omelette tasted like a burger. Greasy. Not right. I actually thought my omelette was cooked on the same surface as the burger without cleaning it off. Anyway, my bottom line is that the menu doesn't have the higher class items I had expected from previous visits and I don't feel the need to go back again. I feel sorry for the waitress who had no one there to help her. I wonder if she feels appreciated by her employer or if she just wonders when the ax will fall now that she's the last one standing.
I really underestimated this place. The food has been awesome and the service has been exceptional every time I've been there. Their prices are also very reasonable for what you get.
My husband and I recently had the same type of experience at the Hy-Vee Market Grille. We sat up at the bar, which was considered full service, and it took over 10 minutes for the 1 employee to just take our drink order. She said she would help us shortly, but she went to the tables and took food orders, made drinks, went to the kitchen and got food, rang up customers' bills, etc. while we sat there waiting. We ordered a hamburger to be cooked medium well and when it finally arrived after a long time of waiting, it was very well done, burned and dried out. She asked us how the food was and when we told her, she just handed us our bill and walked away. Other customers were complaining about the food and service also. If this continues, they won't be open for business much longer. We won't be back.
