Lovely patisserie! I had a breakfast sandwich and a croissant with sweet tea on one visit and a fruit tart on another visit. The meal was delicious and the pastry items are amazing! Best croissants ever!!

I was looking for a place that would make me cake pops/cake balls for my gender reveal and not a single place around here does until I stumbled upon Le Petit!!! The manager was great and personalized my order. She said I was her first order of cake pops they had ever received and wanted me to look at them in store to make sure they were up to my standards. And oh my goodness I was blown away!!!!! I had told them that I don’t really care what they looked like, just to have fun with them and the only requirement I had was a mix of blue and pink as I did not know the gender. I cannot thank this place and this staff enough for their fair prices and details on the cake pops. I kept telling everyone that they were my favorite part of the gender reveal! Haha just amazing. They have my business for life.

Today I had the Brussels sprouts plate (not quite sure the exact title) it came out with a lot of flavor! Loved the spread and the perfect texture of the bacon on top? mmm, so good! I had some friends visiting from Italy and we all loved our food! I had never been there until today. I loved the atmosphere! Cool lighting and comfy seating! I’ll definitely be back to try more on the menu- there are many palettes that are intriguing. I’ll be excited to try others! Price was very reasonable as well and we got our food in a very reasonable amount of time!
Vegetarian options: I wasn’t paying too much attention to this but my friend was a vegetarian and was happy about the offerings here.
Dietary restrictions: Not sure:)
Parking: For a restaurant in a city, it’s very easy to get to
Kid-friendliness: A very family friendly environment
Wheelchair accessibility: It was on the street level!

My husband and I stopped in hoping to find a quaint French bakery atmosphere and pastries. The pastries all looked wonderful and the two that we chose were very nice. We didn’t stay and there was only one person seated.
The staff was pleasant with us, but not engaging - which would have warmed the experience a bit more.
The reason we didn’t stay and have a coffee with our pastries is that it was cold, not only in temperature, but in the atmosphere. It echoes, the seats are not cushioned. They could use a flower vase here and there and some casual cafe music ( or French) playing. Maybe some books lining the walls or something to give it character. I want to see this little bakery succeed, but it needs to become an enticing destination as well as offering beautiful, delicious food. Some lunch sandwiches and salads would be a nice addition as well.

The lemon meringue tart reminds me of my mother-in-law’s lemon curd she made with her lemons off her tree in AZ. Reminds me of so many fond memories. Beyond delicious!

Good food, beautiful atmosphere and fantastic, friendly staff and ownership. Fresh pastry in the case, and a dynamic menu. A great addition to downtown.

I have been here four times now and really enjoy the food. The service has been great as well until today.I called at 1:33 pm (they close at 2pm) to place an order to pick up as I work a couple doors down. The person who answered said “we close at 2” I responded “that’s why I’m calling now”. They then said the kitchen closes at 1:30pm. I mean 3 minutes grace? Also not advertised anywhere that the kitchen closes before the restaurant itself.Very disappointing. Luckily there are some great options around. Very odd, but i will never tell anyone who to run their business, just super confusing if not communicated to customers.
Amazing bakery we really needed in Cedar Falls! Their croissants and macarons are to die for ?
Asian, Cajun, Mexican and Austrian food in a French themed Patis. So weird. "Restaurant officials confirmed that they will be offering a wide variety of French inspired brunch options including; lemon ricotta pancakes, curled salmon croissanwich, charred brussels caesar, and shrimp 'n' grits" French-inspired, my foot. The word delusional comes to mind, a word by the way that is French inspired. By the way Taco Johns now offers Mexican inspired Crème Brûlée on it's menu along with bananas Foster, Scotch Eggs and wienerschnitzel.

The pastries are so flaky and delicious! For some reason the coffee wasn't my favorite but everything else was amazing.

I tried the Croissanwich, bacon, eggs and cheese sandwich, and tarts here. The sandwiches and bread were delicious, but I was disappointed by the small size, just like my mug. I wouldn't have been disappointed if they had included a side salad. Also, the tarts were so hard that they were difficult to cut with a knife and to chew.

Great baked goods and had a beautiful interior. I had some great sourdough toast, and took a couple pastries with me out the door.
