There's a reason old school diners were popular, and it's a shame most people aren't social enough to enjoy this type of environment. Good is OFF THE HOOK!!!!! Everything is honestly. Support your local small businesses, RESTAURANTS in particular. They are a quickly dying breed and they're sooooooooooooo much better than ANY chain could hope to be. Period.

Workers are extremely rude, food is foul, so many bugs running around inside including but not limited to roaches, flys, gnats. Restaurant smelled like cat pee. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Great service. Delicious chocolate cake. I want to try their breakfast. The atmosphere is like an old time diner with only stools at the counter—no tables inside. There are tables outside when the weather permits. I will definitely return.

Only ones in there and had to get waitstaff attention. It'd been 35 years since I had a Maidrite, I make them better than this location. But, it was nostalgic for me and was glad they were still there as so many things aren't anymore

My favorite weekly treat...the food is great, but the biggest draw for me is getting to know the other regulars and the staff (Chad, Shannon, and Emily). Such an invaluable 'third place' for socializing in Cedar Falls, as an alternative to night time bars. Come say hi and have the Early Bird Special with me before 8am!
