The roti was amazing, the palak paneer was very good with grilled paneer. The samosas were light and flaky outside and a medium spicy on the inside. The accompanying tamarind sauce was excellent.Wonderful service, in a small cozy atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Many vegan options as well.

The food is fantastic! Deliciousness galore! We have missed some of the food from other ethnicities, and this restaurant brings in some great flavors! Not a lot of employees, and the restaurant is quite small, but they did a fair job keeping up with us while trying to serve all the takeout at the same time. We'll definitely be back for some samosas and masala!
In town for business and ordered the butter chicken, naan, and also the chicken tandoori. OMG they were all so delicious!!!!! This restaurant is definitely recommended and I'll be ordering here again while I'm in town.

God forbid you order food from this place anymore. DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM GRUBHUB, THEY DO NOT LOOK AT THE WEBSITE AND WILL NOT PULL IT UP WHEN YOU COME TO GET YOUR ORDER. The staff keeps changing, this place used to be great 5-8 years ago. I recently placed an order over the phone for a basic entree and naan. When I arrived I walked up to the cash register and was greeted very patronizingly by some short guy. I said “I called and ordered the Pepper Chicken.” He wrang me up and STARED me down as I was faced with the tipping screen in which I felt obligated to leave a tip, even though this was a pickup /carryout situation and no service was provided. I thought the total was a little high for what I ordered, so I made sure to get a receipt, which I noticed they didn’t ring me up for the bread that I asked for during my phone call. And also the prices were higher compared to the website menu. When I confronted the short man about the naan, he said “well you said you had an order for Pepper Chicken?” Okayyy??? I was just referencing my order quick, like you don’t write these orders down on paper and have some sort of organization? Luckily he didn’t charge me extra for the naan because I would have stated that he could use the tip as the payment. I ended up waiting an extra 20 minutes on top of the 20 minutes in between my phone call and arrival to the restaurant. 40 mins total, and not busy whatsoever. After paying for the order the man very aggressively told me to sit down and wait for the food with no reference to time and treated me like a complete inconvience for even coming into the restaurant. Don’t support this business they don’t appreciate their customers.

The staples are also excellent: tiki masala, butter chicken, etc. But I was a little disappointed by the chicken korma - too greasy, more sauce than chicken. You'll get a huge heap of basmati, though, so create a second dish with it using the extra sauce. Don't expect many beverage options or children's plates. This restaurant caters to college students and fast to-go orders from people who already know what they want. The chef prepares meals with fresh ingredients from his store next door and makes plates to order, so prepare for authentic tastes and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Nearly everything on the menu is either vegetarian or has a vegetarian alternative.Parking: There are only a few available spots in front of the restaurant. For example, I ordered something that was $11.99 and even with tax(Iowa tax of 6% - 8%) and everything it shouldn’t be over $13 but instead I was charged $15.48 for it. And the owner is so daring to tell me that absurd price while looking me straight in the eyes and asks for tip on top of that. They acted like they didn’t notice the price, until I told them that the price is too high even after tax and that’s when they corrected it to the right price. Even when you order online on their official website for takeout, it’s the same thing when you come in store to pay(that’s the only payment option). They will still try to charge you $2+ extra and act like you are stupid.Will never order from them again.I would advise anyone who do order from them whether online or in person, to look at your quoted bill, do a rough math in your head(common sense) or use a calculator etc, before paying unless you’re rich and that $2+ won’t affect you.Anyways, I will keep taking my self to Taste of India in Cedar Rapids whenever I’m craving Indian food.
