We had a function at Hotel The Montage everything was so perfect Soothing environment rooms were also very good highly recommended 👌
A wonderful experience! We were seated upstairs, a cozy table for 2. Excellent wait staff, delicious food, wine , would come again if we visit Cedar Falls again. The halibut was delicious, as was the crusted white fish. Nice price points in wine list.
So happy to find a fine dining location in the area. It was loud and didn't fit my expectation compared with other fine dining locations of similar size.
The food was delicious and the staff was very nice.

Here's a place you would never know that it was there unless you talk to the local people amazing place food service and the owner was accommodating. But its small so they suggested a reservation otherwise you mite not be able to get to experience this amazing place go give it a try the ribs are hands down the best.

Felt discrimination. Were a group of 13, It happened so as the waitress took drink orders for everyone except me Their drinks came. Till next 10-15mins, I was trying to have eye contact with her as well as talk, but Nobody took my order for drinks. Later she did. Afterwards, again I felt the same when I wasn't asked for refillrepeats but everyone else was.
I wouldn't go again

Be prepared to bring your physical credit card because we used Tap to pay everywhere in Cedar Falls even at the Popcorn shop and Ice Cream but Montage didn't have it and I had to walk blocks back to my car after such a great experience.
Montage please fix this part of your amazing restaurant soon.

You are paring down the Montage experience. Here is a simple definition of an Iowa chop.
An Iowa Chop is a thick-cut, center-cut pork loin chop, typically about 1½ to 2 inches thick and weighing 10–12 ounces (sometimes more).
Don't bastardize what the previous owners and employees worked hard to develop. Do better, be better.

10/10 recommend! Great service and amazing food! If you’re looking for a nice place for a cute date this is your place!
Eh, if you like overpriced and overcooked steak in some unnecessarily pretentious digs, this is your spot. I had a much better steak at Gravy's for less than half the price.
Love this place. The food is always done right— would recommend really anything on their menu. Love to change it up and get the special or what’s seasonal. The decor is a little aged but honestly, I couldn’t care less. I’m going out to a restaurant for the food and service!

Good food, even for vegetarians. And good dessert. Good service. Friendly atmosphere.
If you don’t get drinks, you can easily spend $20-30. I got a meal, two cocktails, and dessert, and spent $65 ish. It was delicious and the service was good!
Fantastic food, classy venue with great atmosphere
36th wedding anniversary June 3rd, ordered spicy chicken W/spinach fettuccine. Sadly the pasta was not fresh, the "chicken" was in 1/2 X 1/8 little pieces ( rubbery ) $ 25 bucks. Beautiful wife ordered Asian slaw & mashed potatoes & cheese. They are called (Shares ) and are $8 each. The Slaw was nice in appearance, was dress with dressing ( too much dressing it was soggy) The small cup like was baked with a nice crust on top. It was very tasty (mashed potatoes & cheese is always tasty. Our waitress was kind, she stated " we have fresh pasta" I asked her if my spinach was fresh because it had no flavor. Oh no we only have 1 homemade pasta and that's not it ? I NEVER care to spend money on quality food, $51 dollars for supper, Iv had better pasta at a truck stop... Who cuts little tiny pieces of chicken and believes that's quality. The booths are very hard with little cushion, you sunk to a hard place. silverware was cheap, plates nothing special. Rolls that came with meal ( 1 ) were defiantly not homemade. My wife and I were hired to do many' secret Shops' in Restaurants & shops to provide an accurate unbiased opinion. Am a NYC Queens raised man who loves food and has been trained as a chef. We were not on a shop just looking for quality food in a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately I would rate this 2 stars
Food was great...service was awful.
