The best experience! Accommodated our request for a private dining area for the four of us after a small private wedding. It was set up so beautifully! I wish I would have asked the name of our server, she was amazing and deserved the cash tip we left. The service is the best by far in the area, and the food was delicious from our appetizers (shared plates) to our entrees. My now husband said his steak tonight was better than what we had at Hells Kitchen in Miami. Thank you again Montage, this topped off making our wedding day and dinner perfect!
I was there last Friday night had a 12oz steak I was not satisfied it did not fill me up they sold it to me at market price 47 bucks . Look Texas road house is alot better for less the price and it actually fill you up. Also my table was wobbly bad. Service was nice Atmosphere was very nice that is all

We had an excellent dining experience at Montage. The dishes were creative, served up hot and delicious. I had a filet, that was cooked to perfection with no gristle. Others in the party had a pumpkin pasta dish and a pork chop. The salads were also excellent with creative touches. I highly recommend the spinach salad with pinon nuts. Pick the basil dressing to accompany. Yum!

If you are planning to eat out anywhere near Waterloo, I suggest here. Food was amazing, customer service was next level (Lillian was our server, one of the best I’ve experienced) the drinks are made well and strong. 8 cocktails 2 entrees, a side and a appetizer under 150 before tip. Spend date night here!

Honestly the vibes were just weird… You could hardly hear the music playing in the background and it was so quiet you didn’t want to talk louder than a whisper because everyone would be able to hear your conversation- every booth was full too. My waitress never asked me how I wanted my steak cooked and I didn’t even think about it until it was brought to me- some piece were way too bloody and undercooked to eat. I was pretty disappointed because we drove over 40 minutes and this was for my golden birthday.

We were there for our friends 95th birthday. And do you know what they brought out of their kitchen for her, a little tiny square petite with a candle on it. Everybody was bummed they thought Shirley the montage would least bring out a cupcake. Needless to say our 95-year-old birthday birthday lady was very disappointed. This is a nice upscale restaurant. Their food was magnificent so that was a huge letdown at the end of the meal.
I would’ve given it 3 1/2 stars but there’s no option to
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a pretty tight fit. But our birthday gal made it with wheelchair

Our 1st visit here and we were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary. They atmosphere is amazing. We were seated upstairs at a window which we loved. ALL our food was amazing!! We ordered the Bacon and Crab cakes for starters. And we both ordered the Brisket Tacos. The tacos were THE BEST we've ever had, worth every penny!! We ordered Creme Bruelle for dessert and the sweet waitress knew it was our anniversary and gifted us each an amazing truffle with a Anniversary card. Great choice for our celebration!! We can't wait to go back

I love having dinner in the bar area of Montage, tastefully done, nice atmosphere. The other night we dined there for a birthday celebration, and I was extremely disappointed in the service! I am NOT blaming the waitress, I am blaming the management! This poor young woman had not been trained! She seemed very nervous, we had to keep repeating ourselves as she seemed as though she could not hear us. We had to ask her to remove empty plates and glasses from the table. I asked a manager (that was standing at the end of the bar near our table) to get me a glass of wine as she was constantly disappearing. He didn’t seem concerned about that at all! Red flags should have been flying but he was clueless!
Two days before the reservation, my husband ordered a specialty white cake they serve for birthdays, etc., it was as though it had been stored in a freezer too long! It was dry and the icing just fell off of it.
I have worked and dined in many fine restaurants - TRAIN YOUR STAFF and you might have a chance of becoming one!

Went with friends on a weeknight. It was busy but not bad. The staff are friendly. We started with drinks and appetizers in the lounge and moved to the deck for dinner. We ordered various things. The tartare was decent. The meat could be chopped a little more. The topping didn't add to the flavor. The potato portion was nicer alone. I really liked the goat cheese spread. I ordered the pork chop. It had decent flavor but was overcooked. My friend ordered the fish which was very nicely prepared. I liked the candied bacon. The tuna had a really nice flavor but was also overcooked. I may return.
Parking: There is plenty of parking available.
Kid-friendliness: Not a place to bring small children.

Dinner was excellent with many good fish entrees. Only question is why are steaks market price in the USA? They are not hard to get.

Below Average. We ordered the Chilean sea bass. I love this so was excited to try it here. It was not good. It was so chewy I had to cut it with a steak knife. Then I would chew and chew. Usually means it is over cooked. It also had a drizzle that tasted like candy apple. It was a terrible candy like flavor. . My daughter got the New York strip at market price and it was 1/2 inch thick. I had a bite of her steak and it had a lot of gristle throughout. So sad as we were visiting from out of town and wanted a nice, different place to eat out. Dinner was over $100 and neither of us ate our meal.

This place is really good try it!!
The service is really good, the restaurant is nice & clean, and the food is delicious!!
I ordered a Bacon Hamburger & the Montage potatoes which was delicious & the rest of my party’s food was delicious too.
While waiting for the food we got warm bread & butter to eat which was really good. Shortly after we got the bread & butter the food arrived, and the Burger meat was really juicy & really good something that a lot of places fail to make properly. The Montage potatoes were awesome they were so creamy & one of the best potato dishes I ever tried. The prices are pretty good too considering all the food you get. Definitely stop by this place & give it a try if you’re ever in the area.
