Everything was delicious and had unique flavors. Our kids even enjoyed it and cleaned their plates. The decor/atmosphere was a bonus. Friendly owner and staff! New favorite!
All the food was cold except the eggs which were made to order. Very disappointing it looked so inviting. The staff were very nice but didn’t make up for the food

Patton Bar & Diner offers a charming atmosphere and pleasant service, making it a favorite spot for many. The menu features a range of options, including Diner Fries, breakfast enchiladas, and BEC. The food is delicious, with great presentation, and the coffee is a highlight. Recent reviews have praised the diner fries, smash burger, and cheese curds, noting their fantastic flavors and light tempura batter. Guests have enjoyed the Korean chicken with Buffalo sauce for its fun spicy tang, as well as the General Patton chicken, which is said to be the best in town.
For entrees, the tuna poke bowl is noted for its freshness, while the summer vegetable risotto is creamy and delicious, complemented by a signature salad that features fresh ingredients and a perfect vinaigrette. The staff is attentive, ensuring that guests have everything they need, although some have mentioned that food can take a while to arrive. The dessert, pumpkin cheesecake, is described as more cold and firm than typical, topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, which many guests found fantastic.
While the diner can be a bit loud due to its busy seating, conversations can still be enjoyed. With a focus on quality and hospitality, Patton Bar & Diner is becoming a top choice for those seeking a decent meal in Cedar Falls, with many highly recommending trying the Brussels and Crab Cakes, as well as the Salmon Risotto, along with their bar drinks that are mixed perfectly.
