This place has really gone downhill. The last 2 visits the grill was nasty in front of customers. I made them clean it before I ate off of it. The wall dividing the dining area could use a good cleaning. People running into the back and not worrying about cleaning the area up. The cheese sauce looked like it had been there since yesterday. I doubt I will be back.

I’ve been eating at Pepper Jax for a long time and I have never been so disappointed with an order. My favorite dish is their rice bowls and our bowls were not even half full. Hardly any vegetables at all. Not very happy for $15 bucks.

Food is TERRIBLE! They deffinately do not use the same product as before. Also, have 2nd degree burn on my lip from the sandwich. Moved down south for a year, wanted to come back and have pepper Jax as it's always been great. Not anymore. Not long till this franchise is shut down.

I went to get loaded nachos told them 3 times no rice then I went and sat to eat and found hair I went up again and she made a double steak loaded nachos and again they put rice in it the manager was not happy about having to remake it and kept complaining about having to work in Waterloo very disrespectful to keep doing this to people who eat there offten

I went with my Dad before a Panthers basketball game. We both had Philly cheese steak sandwiches. Except on ours we had banana peppers and mushrooms instead of green peppers and onions. The sandwiches were excellent! The only thing I didn't like was that all the booth tables were kind of dirty when we got there. But the overall experience was awesome!

I have fallen in love with this place! If you want a good Philly sandwich you definitely need to go here ... Oh my goodness you won't be disappointed!

Parking: They are next to a car lot and in a small strip mall area... However there are plenty of parking options here!

Kid-friendliness: They do have good kid options as well! The right size portions for kiddos as well

Walked in on a Friday night just before 8:00 - it looked they were getting ready to close. Tables were stacked with chairs as if they wanted to go home. Walked up to order the lady who took our order was the most unfriendly person I have ever seen behind a counter. She was very rude to other employees - she shouldn’t be supervising anyone. The food resembled the atmosphere and her attitude. We ordered chicken phillys - the chicken resembled a hockey puck before she started grilling - taste was close too. Won’t be going back.
