Food was average - price was costly - service was pretty good
Server put gratuity on bill, never notified us - I put another tip on for almost a 45% tip - called and talked with a manager and was told there was nothing she could do but apologize and remind servers to tell customers about adding the gratuity. Very poor way of doing business and customer service - will never return to eat there again

This was a great experience. The waiter was extremely kind and helpful. The food was very good. The only issue was the swordfish was a bit chewy. Unsure if that is how it normally is, though. We also got drinks which tasted good. The sauce for the main dish was tasty.

Oh my GAWD!! What did you do with the staff!?!? The food was horrible and so was the service!!! This used to be our favorite "treat" but we couldn't even finish the meal because it was cooked so bad!!
Love the food and the Chef keeps everyone involved.

Gone down hill. Did not enjoy our experience for our 8 year old's birthday yesterday. Don’t think we will be going again. Made a reservation the day before which they claimed they scheduled but wasn’t when we arrived. Waited 40 minutes for a table. Almost decided to leave when suddenly they could open up a table that they hadn’t planned to before. Waited another 20 minutes for the chef. Then my son had to use the restroom. (Restrooms are not the best by the way). The chef was suddenly there when we returned and had started without us. Guess what, my son missed the fire which was the reason we went there for his birthday. Oh sorry, I started without you the chef said. We had ordered drinks while waiting. Bar tender was clearly exhausted with her job. I had to ask her for our correct drinks twice. She was tossing menus on the counter making a loud bang. Chef was not thrilled. No usual flipping of the food or utensils while cooking. They said they would sing happy birthday to my son, but it never happened. For $125 it was not the birthday dinner we planned. It has turned in to just going and spending a lot of money for a meal and leaving.
Update: I don't know why we keep going here expecting different results. Service is terrible. They could care less whether you enjoy your meal or feel inclined to return. Cleanliness is a huge issue. Plates had some sort of crusty film on the bottom. The time before last I had a chewed up piece of bubble gum on the bottom of my salad bowl I was served. Portion sizes are severely cut down. I ordered two different cocktails and neither one of them had a drop of alcohol in them. The chef rushed to cook and served the food before it was even done. The couple next to us had to ask him to put their steak back on the grill. Then he proceded to argue with them about how they asked for their steak to be done. They also ordered a california roll that looked like they ran to Hy Vee quick and grabbed one of their to-go trays. The vegetables were barely cooked and too hard to eat. The rest of the meal had two squirts of sauce on it and slapped on the plate mostly dry. It was $125 for three people to eat. This is outrageous for the lack of service and quality in this place. I think I have learned my lesson after this time and will truly no longer be going back.
Stopped in during a dinner crowd so it was a bit slow, but that didn't bother me because I was there with a friend I don't get to see often. The sushi is super good, I LOVED The Pink Panther roll the best out of the ones I had! A very laid back atmosphere overall and good food!

The food & the presentation is phenomenal. I was with my niece & she wanted to try some sushi. On a tip from the hostess she tried the Rainbow Roll. Great recommendation by the hostess. It was buckle your knees good. Thereafter, the chef prepared & served our meals. My niece had steak & I had salmon & shrimp. Our meals included a delicious soup, salad, rice & noodles. It was more than a meal, it was an experience.

It's okay, not really wow, the cook was a lot better than the waitress. The show in watching the cook was actually enjoyable, I'm sorry to say that there is better options for Eastern food in the area

Service was there just enough, every time we needed anything she popped up. Food came out as expected and was overall great! Hit the spot. We went at lunch so prices may have been a bit cheaper than dinner; $36 filled the two of us up. We would definitely recommend the crab Rangoon roll and the crunchy roll was very yummy, too.
