I got the Chi tea (iced) the first sip was great but the rest was grainy and all the powder sunk to the bottom and every time I took a drink it felt like I stuck my straw into the Sahara Desert and drank up the sand when I got home I tried to mix it up more and also tried adding milk nothing helped.... On the other note the service was great

Make sure your travel lids are on tight before they hand your drinks to you. My drink was loose and old popped off when they passed it in and thus I wore my drink. Great start to the morning. Luckily/unfortunately the coffee was like warm

I’ve never liked scones before because they were always so dry, but their cranberry orange scone was the best scone I’ve ever had!
Usually Sidecar is one of the best coffee shops located in Cedar Falls in my opinion but this time it was absolutely terrible!!!!I usually LOVE their matcha lattes but today's matcha was awful. Their matcha is usually a pretty light shade of green but today it has the tiniest bit of matcha powder, to the point that it only tasted like straight up milk. My friend ordered a vanilla chai latte, and was given a vanilla latte, which is an honest mistake and they offered to change it but we decided it was best to just leave and try somewhere else. My friend does not like espresso. but I tried their latte and again, it was straight milk with a little bit of extremely bitter espresso added in. I don't know if they were training someone but the wait was longer than usual and the drinks were not good at all. The atmosphere was fine, its a super cute and nice little coffee shop, and I try to support local coffee shops over going to a chain like Starbucks or Scooters, but today we ended up throwing our drinks away and driving 20 minutes to a Starbucks in Waterloo.

I was a customer at Sidecar Coffee Shop a bit over 2 months ago when I was taking a 3-day vacation there. I was a dine-in customer and needed to get some work done. My coffee tasted great and the atmosphere was so relaxing that I got completely absorbed in my work and I'm still recalling what a great experience I had. They made my work projection my laptop way less strenuous just because of the incredible ambience and a great brew.

I like this place. It has good coffee and good scones and cinnamon rolls. It's quiet and you get privacy to hold conversations with friends.
