We walked by and saw they had a special for not your average nachos! You get two beers and nachoes for $20! This is a great deal! So we stop in got two great beers, nachoes, and some lemonade for the DD.

The location and surrounding venue is inviting. The beer at this Taproom is worth a visit. I was unsure how I would appreciate the offerings when I saw all the sours touted on the website. If you are a stout fan the ZMD is a must try. It could easily be added to your list of favorite beers. Any brewery in the county would be hard pressed to beat the full flavor profile and intense mouthfeel of this beer.

My go to place for good beer (esp sours) when I'm in the area!

The beer quality is the prize here. An outstanding sour named "Ring Around the Gose", a solid lager named "Gable", and of course there's "Tip the Cow" for the dark coffee beer craving. The Waterloo location menu items are unique and tasty. A local sweet spot that you always hope will get enough business to remain open. A perfect reward for a tired, thirsty cyclist. We love SingleSpeed! We particularly enjoy sitting on the parkade in Cedar Falls in a nice summer evening sipping some fine beer. Today we had the Gable and the new Cherry Sour. Gable is classic and so nice. My wife really enjoyed the sour.

I stopped through Cedar Falls after a day of moving out of my house. I didn’t end up staying at SingleSpeed for long since I was looking for food and nothing sparked my interest, BUT the bartender/waitress that I spoke to was incredibly nice and accommodating. She suggested other places I could try! Thank you stranger, and thank you SingleSpeed for having such a great staff!

New to town and never been here. Went to the bar and noticed there was no menu for beer descriptions so we asked the bartender if she could go through the beers for us so we could decide what we would like to order. She said “No”. She had 2 friends at the bar and not one other customer and all she could say was “No”. How would we know anything about the beers by the names? All of us being from the service industry were shocked but continued to stay and order 3 flights. When attempting to order beers we had no clue about we found when ordering some we couldn’t get because they were in cans. Well, we would have known that if she took 3min to tell us about the beers. She continued to say how it would have taken her 15min to get through all the beers listed. I’m sorry but there isn’t THAT many beers here. I suggest either getting new staff or putting beer menus out so your patrons can read about your beers, what were good beers. I’m hesitant to return if that’s the service that is offered.Was there 5/14/2022 around 7pm
