Featured Blonde Roast

In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

Very nice person at the window. They asked to clarify something they typed in incorrectly, no problem.... I said nope all I wanted was light ice. Cup full of ice, so the only specification I made after clarifying their mistake was ignored. I'm from out of town but come here from time to time. It was an unfortunate missing of the mark.

Mary from Starbucks on University Avenue went above and beyond to make things right! She called last night to apologize for the mix-up and offered to have my coffee ready at the designated time for my meeting today. When I arrived, the staff greeted me with a smile, apologized again, and even gave me my coffee on the house. Great work, Mary – thank you for turning this experience around!
