Experienced this little cafe for the first time with my sister and her family this morning and it was absolutely wonderful. The crepes were so amazing, each of us ordered something different and ended up trying a bite (or two!) from each others plate. The hot coffees were the perfect temperature, I could drink my hot mocha right away without burning my mouth. The atmosphere was great. The workers were friendly and noticed immediately that we were new to the scene and gave us a quick run down of how they operate. I highly recommend! It IS very small so i would suggest not bringing an entire family as seating is limited, which brings me to another point! As we were trying to find a table big enough, a lady and her (I’m assuming) boyfriend noticed and offers to move to a smaller 2-person table so we could have their larger table! How nice! Will definitely be returning ?

LOVE this place! Some of the best food (made with love) and an amazing atmosphere. Any time I get the chance to show someone great places in Cedar Falls, I make sure to recommend Tata Yaya!

Cute shop, always busy, and excellent crepes. The Endless Love is a personal favorite.Vegetarian options: The sweet crepes are vegetarian, same for waffles/french toast. Don't get the savory options enough to know if there are any vege options in that section. Batter likely contains animal products, so not vegan, but if you ask they may have some vegan options.

One of our favorites in the area! We have found to check how many table order markers are out first - if there are 5+ out you’ll be waiting 30+ minutes for sure for your food.

The food is excellent! The service is okay and more akin to a Starbucks level of service. You grab your menus, make your order, they bring the dish to your table, and you put away your plates on the way out. I was expecting it to be more full service so the actual rating would be closer to 4.5 instead of 5The atmosphere is warm and inviting. They have seating for 24 people (6 tables of 4) therefore you would need to be careful is you have a large party. Overall I would highly recommended.

My wife and I wanted a cup of coffee but our regular was so busy we decided to give Tata Yaya a try. I'm so glad we did, this will be our new regular. Also, I tried the French toast while I was there, awesome!

Ive been here a few times now and whatever i have ordered has been really good. A big big plus point for me is that its halal!! Their customer service is really good and the interior is so cozy and feels bookish. It’s our go to breakfast spot.Kid-friendliness: They have 2 highchairs and the menu options were thoroughly enjoyed by my three year old.

Service was great, everyone is so sweet. Love the ambiance of the restaurant, great breakfast or brunch spot to eat out with. Or course the food is the best part, everything taste great and more importantly fruits are all fresh.

Very very good food. If I had any suggestion it would be to not wait until all good is done to deliver. The time before last that resulted in cold chicken crepes for my wife. But all but that visit have been excellent and we love going on a date here on weekends.

Absolutely life-changing. I had one of the savory waffles options and it was simply delicious. The staff was very friendly, you can tell the food was fresh, and the atmosphere is adorable.A tiny critique (if I had to give one): I would echo that the tables didn't feel exceptionally clean. This has got to be the Cedar Valley's best kept secret. 10/10 would recommend!

I had the jungle crepe and it was delicious!!! And so filling. The people were amazing and informative, because it was our first time there. Would definitely recommend! Not much seating for large groups though.
