As this is now a cash only restaurant. I will not be returning. The US dollar is legal tender in our country and a cashless requirement should NEVER be legally allowed.

350 First - DoubleTree by Hilton | Cedar Rapids, Iowa I haven't been here in nearly 5 years and it's honestly a shame! I'm also shocked there aren't more posts about it. The food was absolutely outstanding. My Beef Short Rib was juicy and seasoned just right. The carrots were perfectly cooked with a hint of crispness. A tad pricey, but well worth it IMO. Cajun chicken was good as well. Drinks were spot on. The French 75 was strong as it should be and I had a drink special that was basically a whiskey sour with soda water. Very good indeed. The view is KILLER. My wife will post some of her sunset pictures in the comments. Service was outstanding. The menu is great in that there is a $17 burger, but also some pricier "cheffy" stuff.

From the minute we walked off the elevator to when we left, we had a great experience! The service was top notch, the food and drinks were wonderful! The views were amazing of the city! The employees were very friendly and kind! Will definitely be back!

Coming here and seeing the recent reviews, I was a little worried coming here before the Globetrotters game. But I am so glad that we did. Our waitress was very nice and talked with us for a bit. When our food came out we agreed that if it tasted half as good as it looks that it would be amazing. But it wasn’t half as good as it looked, it was twice as good. And to top it all off, we had a widow side booth and the view was incredible. We are very satisfied with our visit and are definitely going there again when we are in town.

Everyone in my party enjoyed our food. The short ribs with veggies in a maple sauce were delicious. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked. Salmon was tender with good flavor. Tomato bisque was good even with an unusual add on of a pesto to it.Views are amazing with a bit of extra Christmas lights right now. Service was slow to seat us but efficient after we had our table.

After dining at 350 on First many times I have to say this was the worst dining experience ever. Got in on time per my reservation and it went down hill from there. My food arrived and my med rare filet was well done, the broccolini was so so and the smashed red potatoes were stone cold. My waitress asked how everything was and I told her. She took the plate back and brought another waitress brought another one back. Steak was finally correct but everything else was still cold. When she took my plate she also took my silverware. Another person brought my second plate back placed it in front of me and took off and then I sat with no silverware. I had to literally flag down my waitress to get a fork and knife. The wine was not a quality wine and when I finally said give me a to go box and my bill she said I comped your glass of wine. I just looked at her, really comped a cheap glass of wine for an $80.00 meal I could not eat? This is not at all the quality or service I expect from a Hilton establishment! Totally disappointed!

Great breakfast and wonderful service at 350 First. Not only is the location great, but the views are stunning. My son loved seeing the trains outside. The breakfast was great with an option for a buffet or menu. We ordered from the menu and it was great. Our waitress, Nicole H. was wonderful!!! We are really glad we came here and plan to be back. Thanks again.

I typically don't review hotel restaurants because food offerings are limited and usually just okay. And then there are the exceptionsThis one is an exception. The great views are already well reported. Service (bar seating) was prompt and easy. The menu is somewhat limited but there's something for everyone. My standard order of Salmon and a Caesar were perfect. Pricing was hotel heavy but did I mention the views

Very very good Thanksgiving dinner. Traditional and flavorful. The turkey breast was well seasoned and moist. Great selection of desserts. Well worth a repeat visit.

The view is spectacular! And went during a time they weren't busy so it was very quiet and relaxing. The booths are spacious which I consider important. The salmon was amazing! It came on a bed of garlic spinach or kale, I can't exactly remember but that was salty as a get out. I tried to eat it but I struggled. The menu seemed very limited and kind of gourmet. That's not really who I am. I think because they're "gourmet" their prices reflected that which I could have understood if I could eat everything. Since I couldn't it just seemed excessive. I know while I was in town my buddy asked me if I wanted to eat there again and my response was no. Next time I'm staying at that hotel I find a different restaurant. Just not for me.
