“GREAT! One of the most consistent restaurants in the whole Midwest. My family and I have been multiple times and each time is better than the last. The rotating seasonal menu makes it exciting to come back again and again. With the front of house being so prompt and attentive and everyone in the back of house being extremely diligent. You can tell that all the cooks and chefs have a sense of pride and ownership for each dish. The menu isn't overwhelming large, but still offers something for everyone. The wine menu is vast and precise at the same time. The souffle with hazelnut cream might've been the star of the show, it was well worth the couple minutes of prep to make it. I couldn't recommend this place enough.”

We ordered a large and split half to be pepperoni and the other half to be pep and sausage. It was plenty for 4 people with a couple of slices left over. “Went to Lucky's for breakfast with my family. I had the Villa with their French toast special (red velvet with a sweet cream cheese filling). The French toast was so delicious I didn't need syrup with it, my over easy eggs were perfect, the sausage links are huge and we got four to an order. My son had the mini waffles and they are decent price and excellent quality. We topped it off with coffee that our server Mika kept full and checked on us often. We will definitely have to go back and try other things on the breakfast menu.”

Now that Shawniecakes is moved into a new space in the Collins Community Credit Union on 1st Ave, they offer a full menu of sandwiches, salads, and sides. My savory favorite is the Mac & Cheese!

“My gf and I went here last night. We went to try their July flight and enjoy time together. Per usual the atmosphere was great and our bartender was super nice. We got there around 8:55pm. We ordered our flight, and a dessert. We were talking and enjoying our time when our bartender comes up to us and says that while he's not trying to rush us, they actually closed at 9pm!!! Now both myself and my gf are in the service industry, so if we had known that, we most certainly wouldn't have gone there for our time together. So I double checked, and let the bartender know that online, it says they are open until 11pm Mon-Thur. He did apologize and let us know that their hours are only until 9pm those days now. We quickly boxed our dessert and left because we know what it feels like to want to go home. As we left though, we noticed that their doors also say they close at 11pm Mon-Thur and their red hours say Monday until 10pm and Tues - Thur 11pm. So if you go on a Mon-Thur just know that the hours you see are not accurate and they close at 9pm Mon-Thur according to our bartender last night. Beyond that little hassle, the flight was great and the cheesecake was to die for. Knowing the correct hours just makes it more convenient for the public to plan accordingly on where they can spend time at.”

Beth met with us and spent time to find out exactly what our daughter had in mind for her wedding. She brought ideas that we hadn’t even thought of that helped bring our vision to reality. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Gabby and Beth went to the church and venue to set up the flowers and ensure they were presented perfectly. Our daughter loved her bridal bouquet and the flowers for the wedding party. All of the flowers enhanced our wedding experience and were certainly a special touch to the day!”

“My wife has always liked Applebee's. I could take it or leave it and would only go when she really wanted to. But, recently, I became a fan when Liz, a contestant I couldn't stand on Survivor 46 began to bawl and scream because another contestant won an Applebee's meal and chose not to invite her to eat with him. Liz explained that she had this goofy ritual of eating Applebee's with her daughter every Wednesday night, then going home to watch Survivor. She said her meal of choice was the bourbon mushroom and Swiss burger. I think that's what it's called. So, one night when my wife wanted to go to Applebee's, I decided to try this sandwich that pathetic Liz bawled over on Survivor.
I have to say, Liz is right. It's a great burger. My only complaint is they always ask if I want it pink inside or not and I always say "pink" and I always get gray. Why ask if Pink is not really an option?
We love the blondie with ice cream, too, though I don't have an anecdote to explain why.
The atmosphere there is okay. I suppose it's great if you love having a dozen TVs around you, all on different channels. I am not a fan of TVs hanging in restaurants or bars, so I do my best to ignore them. Aside from that, the decor is all right. At one point, though, I dropped a motel key card on the floor and reached down to retrieve it. I nearly lost my appetite. Do not look at the floors in this Applebee's. They're disgusting. At least they were last night.
I mainly wanted to do this review for my wife's sake. She was very taken by our wait staff. Her name is Sapphire. She was professional and friendly, speedy and accommodating. My wife left a nice note for the manager. I hope Sapphire knows about it and I hope she gets some kind of praise from the manager. My wife is picky about waitstaff so for her to be this impressed is really something.”

“They've got some good wings at a reasonable price. Have had both bone in and boneless both great qualirty chicken. Flavors are limited as far as sauces and dry seasoning, but haven't found one I haven't liked. Little hard to find if you don't know it's inside the Chili's.”

“So my husband and I told ourselves never again would we go back to Buffalo Wild Wings. My coworker suggested going even after I told her about our experience there from bartender Dottie every time we have gone in she completely ignored us we have to ask her for everything. But we decided to go in again and we sat at the bar as usual but it wasn’t Dottie this time the bartender is Miss Tara she is so fast doesn’t even need to write anything down and literally listen to all my needs. I recommend you to go when she is working I watched her go into the kitchen an help them cook. I want Miss Tara to know we appreciate her service very much”

“Went to Lucky's for breakfast with my family. I had the Villa with their French toast special (red velvet with a sweet cream cheese filling). The French toast was so delicious I didn't need syrup with it, my over easy eggs were perfect, the sausage links are huge and we got four to an order. My son had the mini waffles and they are decent price and excellent quality. We topped it off with coffee that our server Mika kept full and checked on us often. We will definitely have to go back and try other things on the breakfast menu.”

“Hands down they have the best pizza in town! The crust was baked to perfection - crispy with the right amount of sauce and cheese. We ordered a large and split half to be pepperoni and the other half to be pep and sausage. It was plenty for 4 people with a couple of slices left over. “In spite of the city, heavy mirror brand new business blocked off all directions to enter. We were greeted by the owner at around midnight on saturday. And although they had already closed down the grill for the night, she was able to produce plates of probably the best nachos i've had in a while. It's in the old dairy queen on Bowling street. “GREAT! One of the most consistent restaurants in the whole Midwest. My family and I have been multiple times and each time is better than the last. The rotating seasonal menu makes it exciting to come back again and again. With the front of house being so prompt and attentive and everyone in the back of house being extremely diligent. You can tell that all the cooks and chefs have a sense of pride and ownership for each dish. The menu isn't overwhelming large, but still offers something for everyone. The wine menu is vast and precise at the same time. The souffle with hazelnut cream might've been the star of the show, it was well worth the couple minutes of prep to make it. I couldn't recommend this place enough.”
