Burger King in Cedar Rapids

“We've been to this BK a lot because of the accuracy and quality of the food. Tonight, there was some things missing. They quickly corrected and even threw in some extras for my trouble. I worked in fast food as a teen and things happen. I just appreciate the quick correction AND a few extra goodies.“

“I'm usually pretty hesitant to leave any reviews for fast food restaurants. Typically the fast food restaurants have such a turnover, that after a year you review doesn't mean anything.

However, this time was special. I was simply out for a drive, it was rainy, I decided I'd stop in at a Burger King, that's where I typically live does not have any except for one, that is, well...terrible.

I ordered my burrito, I fill my drink, and I go. When I sit down. Before they call my order, an old man comes over and sets his cane at the next seat over. He hobbles over to the front counter, makes his order, and pays in cash. This is a rare thing nowadays, and he struggles seeing the coins. The staff is very patient with them, extremely patient. I would even venture to say they were 3/4 of the way done making his meal before he fully pays.

I had intentions to tell him I would go pick up his food from the counter when they yelled for his number. I did not have to do this, the kind manager from behind the counter, with her own boot on her foot or ankle brought his food out to him.

Sure, this man could be a regular for a Sunday. Maybe he's come here every Sunday with his wife for decades, and his life is now gone?

The food is what you would expect it from a fast food restaurant, the atmosphere too, but the patience of the staff, the professionality I haven't seen in a long time from a fast food restaurant, I'll come back.“

“Food was edible: the onion rings were the hottest item as they were fresh, fries were luke warm but had good flavor and some decent crunch and the burgers were made the way I asked for them to be made with the exception of the burgers not being fresh“

“The staff is always tons of fun. Everytime i arrive somethings always wrong. CO2 is out. Ice cream not being served.

It's never a huge elt down, but it is a little weird.

Vegetarian options: I honestly love the burgers veggies burgers, other people don't.“

Friendly staff and the store was very clean and tidy.
Kudos to the management and team members.
Got the Whopper meals
