“The servers were nice. The person taking my to go order seemed like he was preoccupied. However he was friendly. The food was great as always. Whenever I'm in town I make sure to stop here for great food.”
“We were in Marion for the regionals swim meet and were one of a few large parties who booked for that night. Even with how busy the place was with several large groups the staff was friendly, service was timely, and food was good!”
“I ate too quickly to get a picture of the food!! ? And you will too. Hits the spot. Perfect Americana breakfast stop. Little diner with table, booth & bar seating. Omelette & hashbrowns were fantastic. I highly recommend the Yogurt Blueberry Lemon Muffin! ? If I get to return to Marion, I'll want to stop here again.Vegetarian options: I had a Garden Omelette, which was good. You can also substitute egg whites if you choose.”
“When i I was told they make an amazing Chicago style pizza, I was intrigued. What I wasn't expecting is better Chicago style pizza than I've had in Chicago! Service was amazing, pizza was delicious. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back!”
“I just went to this restaurant, there is plenty park lot outside which is nice. Food is tasty, plenty and fair prices. They have nice tables and chairs for 1 or a big family. They seem to care for artists as they display paintings and artsy stuff, this makes the atmosphere feel colorful and vibrant. Despite there was a lot of people on Saturday, no one rushed us and we were able to enjoy a good brunch and good conversation. The owner greeted us and came back to talk to us, I thought that was very nice.”
“Great food, fast service and a friendly ambiance. This might be a Christmas Day Tradition.... Like a Christmas Story, without the neighbors dogs destroying the turkey.”
“I only go to Eva's every now and then because it's so far from my house and there are a hundred Mexican restaurants from here to there, but going back today reminded me how amazing the food was. Really, driving the distance is more than worth it. Yesterday, I happened to be on the right side of town and went back to Eva's. It's a small building but that's one of the things I like the most about it. It's comfortable and friendly. The server's name was Marili and she was great. She anticipated when I needed anything and never made me feel like I was asking too much. There was a high school(?) aged kid that was very attentive and courteous and helped the servers fill drinks, take plates, and check up on tables. I ended up tipping him as well because he definitely deserved it. The owner was a consistent presence, also making sure everyone was happy and everything was in order. This is a small, family owned business and it definitely feels like it by the way they treat and know their customers. If that wasn't enough of a reason to support this place, the food was probably the best Mexican food I've had. As soon as I sat down, I ordered a cherry coke and a small queso to go with the chips. The chips were thick (but not overly so) and had a really good crunch to them, and the queso was definitely worth the buy. Their menu is very extensive and there are so many different dishes that I haven't seen at other restaurants. I don't usually get appetizers at Mexican restaurants for some reason, but I wanted to try something new. To start, I ordered the Mini Chimis (Two fried chimis stuffed with chicken, beans, and cheese and served with a homemade dressing.) The dressing was something like a coleslaw, sweet and tangy, and I could have probably drank the stuff it was so good. The chimis were cut in half and served over a shredded lettuce bed and were cooked perfectly. had to move the plate to the back of the table so I would not just eat all of it right then and there and not be able to eat any of the chicken fajitas I had ordered for an entree. The chicken fajitas came out sizzling and had more and better flavor than other fajitas I've had. The tortillas were so fluffy and tasty as well I actually ordered another side of them to go! The fajitas are served with the usual rice, beans, and lettuce mix and topped with a fresh homemade guacamole. When the owner stopped by, I asked him if they made the guacamole in house and he said that yes, they actually made everything fresh there. You can definitely taste the quality and care put into everything. At the end, the total was $42.80, and I will still probably get 4-5 more meals out of the leftovers because of the generous amount they serve. This is the kind of place that once you go once, you'll probably have a hard time staying away from so keep that in mind before you make that decision. I couldn't think of one bad thing to say even if I wanted to. 10/10”
“If I could give a 10 star instead of only a 5 star this place would have it. OMG, the food here is out of this world good. The coupon we had did the job. It got us in the door then we met Mat. Very personable! We started with a Baked Cheese Bread. Cheese blend, pickled mushrooms, herbs, lemon zest baked bread. It was extremely good. Mouth watering goodness.I had a house salad and the homemade raspberry dressing it was fabulous.I had a steak sandwich sliced roast sirloin, provolone, arugula, bearnaise, sauteed mushrooms, sauteed onions on multi grain bread. The steak was very tender and juicy cooked to perfection. It was extremely good.My husband had Le Shmashburger two ground beef patties, Velveeta, banana peppers, savory demi glaze, fancy tartar sauce on a brioche bun. My husband's eyes literally rolled to the back of his head with delight. My husband said this burger was a high quality burger it did not taste like it just fell off the delivery truck. Our waiter Mat was amazing and such a great bartender.”
“First time there. Very impressed. I had a BBQ chicken sandwich and kid had chili cheeseburger. Both were delicious. Compareable prices to other places. A relaxed atmosphere. Jake our server was great. He came to our table just the right amount of times and was very friendly. Will definitely go ”
“Love their smoothies, quick service, and the fact that it always looks and smells clean. The app is super quick and convenient for ordering in a hurry. Just took advantage of the gift card promo so now my girls and I will be stopping even more frequently.”
“This was a great place! We had omelettes … very good! Our server was so kind and super friendly! Recommend to us by the gals at forefront dermatology … thank ”
“Service was a little slow due to the cashier having difficulty either interpreting a coupon we were using (classic roast beef sandwich for $2.99) or having difficulty seeing details on the register.Another worker did give us plenty of horsey sauce packets to go, a very nice gesture. We ordered two classic Roast Beef Sandwiches and two different Hushpuppy fish meals (one three-piece and one five-piece).I found the fish to be very tasty. The coating added a decent crunch and wasn’t greasy. Much as I love food at Culver’s, their fish entrees are always greasy and I really don’t like that. The tartar sauce was perfect for the fish, sweet and tangy. The fries were quite good; crispy without being too browned or burned, and decently salted. Got a bit dry near the end but hardly an issue given the sheer variety of sauces available in store. As a heads up, I don’t know how much longer the fish will be available at Arby’s as of this review. If you want the fish, get to a participating Arby’s in the next couple of days. The roast beef sandwich was good. It came plain but we had plenty of their famed horsey sauce. One packet sent me to Flavor Town, cleared out my sinuses, and singed my brain all at once. The beef itself was pretty tender and flavorful but the sauce added to its appeal. If you like spicy food, you’ll like the horsey sauce.Overall, I’d come here again. One more thing, If you get coupons in the mail, use them. The food items can get pricey. Your wallets will thank you for using them.”
“Everything I tried was delicious!!! Trust me I tried a lot. When I go somewhere new for the first time I like to order several different things and then have leftovers forever. Their Tom Kha soup is now my favorite place to get the soup!! I also got to meet and have a fabulous conversation with the owner. The rest of the staff was amazing as well. So friendly and helpful. If you don’t know what you want or like they are very good at what questions to ask to figure out your flavor profile. I can’t say enough good things!!! Hurry go get some great food!!”
“Appealing sense in the fitness world, I would like to travel here more often, and I would like to understand more about the products. Service is quick and nice but not personally engaging.Parking: There are a selected amount of spots for parking, so be cautious not to park in any other businesses lots!”
“I liked the Iowan, it was very good, the place is pretty small but very nice looking, would definitely go there again if given the choice. The sauce on the Iowan wasn't very spicy as I thought it was but it was still ”
