“When the Marion store first opened they understandably had their problems then it finally got much better. Went there tonight and it was worse than when when they first opened. 1. The burrito press was broke. 2. Every meat was dry and simple looked bad. 3. The queso was dark yellow. 4. I get that serving food isn’t a fun job but at least act like your a little interested in your job-geez people. My daughter and I spent over $23.00 on a meal that wasn’t good at all and neither of was able to finish our meal. Sad. I guess we’ll just have to return the NE CR store instead of spending our money in Marion.“

“Special fried ice cream for $2. Nowhere did the flyer mention it was a smaller fried ice cream and the waiter didn't alert us to it when we ordered one for 2 of us to share due to the size. You need to make your flyers more descriptive so the reader understands the difference in a special size just for the special offered the week of April 22.“

“Huge shout out to 4 Hermanos, our office came in yesterday to place orders to go. We had 11 people placing orders. The staff is always friendly and the service is great. We got the to go orders quickly, walked back to our office and started unpacking. It is normal with this big of an order that something gets forgotten or something gets messed up, but every single one of our orders were correct and everybody had their food so thank you so much for making our office lunch. A great experience you guys are awesome.“

“WOW. We had such a great experience at Lacayo. First, THIS IS NOT ANOTHER MEXICAN RESTAURANT. This is Latin American cuisine and it’s one of the best places in Cedar Rapids. Everything is so flavorful, it’s all made in house (even the tortillas), and the service is wonderful. We had a meal with friends and enjoyed it so much, we went back for brunch the next day. Looking for a brunch spot that doesn’t just offer the same standard breakfast items but packs tons of flavor? This is your place. You have to get the tamale. The sauce is out of this world. Food was prepared quickly with the same amazing standards. Chimichangas, for example, are crisp when served with white sauce on them. We’ve had most of the menu items the years. All excellent.“

“I would give them a five-star if they would actually provide enough salsa. They already don't give you enough salsa and then when you ask for extra that still isn't enough. Very small containers compared to the queso. That's really my only complaint otherwise they're usually really really nice and a good place to chill.“
