Went to MIX with my boyfriend for AYCE sushi on a Friday afternoon. It was quiet (we went around 2:30) with just a couple of other tables occupied. Service was super friendly and accommodating and we were taken care of very well. There is a 20% gratuity applied to all AYCE orders, but honestly for the price ($30 + the gratuity) it was a little expensive, but still worth it and probably one of the better AYCE options in Iowa. We went here for hot pot with a very large group, 15+. Our servers took amazing care of us, drinks full the whole time with their bottomless mimosas!! They have lots of different options for people, we chose the hot pod, never done something like this before and it was an amazing experience!! So much fun!! Great quality meats and veggies. And you can add bottomless sushi for $10 too??? We all left extra full and very satisfied! Highly recommend this place for any to large groups...read full review

We went for the hot pot this time and visits in the past ordered off the regular menu, which is really good, we really enjoyed the hot pot our server was great and very attentive. We go early because we like to avoid the rush and it's always very nice and quiet.
