We went for the hot pot this time and visits in the past ordered off the regular menu, which is really good, we really enjoyed the hot pot our server was great and very attentive. We go early because we like to avoid the rush and it's always very nice and quiet.

The manager at this restaurants has no idea how to run a business and is incredibly rude to his customers. The food is okay, but they charge too much. If you want better food for cheaper go anywhere else.Edit: After posting this review the manager then confonted me and harrassed me until I left the restaurant. Wait staff were nice, they said they were embarrased and apologized for his behavior.I was really disappointed by the food and service quality. If you're looking to have a nice night, this isn't the place.

Went to MIX with my boyfriend for AYCE sushi on a Friday afternoon. It was quiet (we went around 2:30) with just a couple of other tables occupied. Service was super friendly and accommodating and we were taken care of very well. There is a 20% gratuity applied to all AYCE orders, but honestly for the price ($30 + the gratuity) it was a little expensive, but still worth it and probably one of the better AYCE options in Iowa. The nigiri was, as expected, a lot of rice. But honestly the piece of fish that they had on each brick of rice was actually a good portion. I was really pleasantly surprised (impressed even?) at the specialty rolls. Usually those are a pass for me at AYCE sushi, but the specialty rolls here didn't feel like all filler like at a lot of other AYCE sushi spots. I really liked the Sun Dragon and Fire Dragon rolls. Don't sleep on the appetizers at AYCE sushi either. We enjoyed a couple of rounds of takoyaki and fried calamari. Our friends went for hotpot the same weekend (they do a deal on Sundays for AYCE hotpot!) and said it was good. We want to come back soon to try the Korean food as well!

We went here for hot pot with a very large group, 15+. Our servers took amazing care of us, drinks full the whole time with their bottomless mimosas!! They have lots of different options for people, we chose the hot pod, never done something like this before and it was an amazing experience!! So much fun!! Great quality meats and veggies. And you can add bottomless sushi for $10 too??? We all left extra full and very satisfied! Highly recommend this place for any to large groups to a cute romantic date, and everything in between!!! Well be going again

I attended a birthday party here with around 25 people and was worried we would be an issue but they were able to accommodate with no lapse in service. Most of my group got the hot pot but I wasn’t too hungry so I ordered a spider roll, a shrimp tempura roll, and some edamame (although my friends loved it so much I barely got any of it) and everything was soooo good. The servers we had were attentive and personable and everyone had a great time. I will absolutely be back!
What a great place to eat! Love the all you can eat hot pot, the all you can eat sushi, it was real good and they have a good variety to choose from. The server was very nice and explained the hot and how it works,She was very good. The food service time from order to table is about what you would expect for good fresh food (if you want it any faster then I would say go to the many fast food places that is available to you)and the amount of customersthey had. The place is clean with an upbeat atmosphere, I definitely will be back again keep up the good work!!

It’s not delicious, it doesn’t taste good. The spicy hot pot is not spicy enough. It smells like Chinese medicine, which is wrong. It’s not spicy and there’s no butter. The tomato soup in the tomato pot is not thick enough, and basically it will not make the bottom of the tomato pot.The mutton rolls had a strange smell and the food was served very slowly. I ordered some meat and waited for 20 minutes but it still wasn't served.The overall taste is not good. I don’t recommend it at all. If you don’t eat it, you will feel uncomfortable. If you eat it, you will feel uncomfortable for the rest of your life.Not delicious, the taste is not good spicy pot taste is not hot enough, there is a Chinese medicine taste, the taste is not right, there is no spicy more no butter. Tomato soup is not thick enough to make the bottom of the tomato pot.The mutton roll has a peculiar smell, the food is very slow, so I ordered some meat and waited for 20 minutes.The overall taste is not good, completely not recommended, do not eat uncomfortable, eat uncomfortable for a lifetime.

We gave this place many chances. We tried it at least 3 times throughout the first 6 months they've opened in Marion, but was ultimately disappointed and never went back. The consistency and authentic Asian taste wasn't there. Fast forward to 2024, we got a chance to try their food again from somebody else buying, and it has drastically improved. Japchae is no longer dry, their fried chicken arent undercooked and crispy, the kalbi was marinated, and much more. Glad it tastes like real asian food as it should be. Keep it up! Will change to 5 stars if consistency improves.
