“First time eating their food, I ordered to go. Coming in to pick up my food, I would have loved to stay and eat inside. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, and I love that you can see the cooks hard at work on their delicious food. One pancake! One super massive buttermilk pancake and I was almost too full to have anything else. The cinnamon stuffed French toast is definitely a flag ship dish all on its own!“

“Such a wonderful down home atmosphere! The staff were lovely…. Very helpful… chatted with us when we asked questions and showed interest in the place. Friended several patrons as we ate. It was fun! “Carlos O'Kelly's is one of our favorite restaurants. We used to have one in Ames and they no longer have it so we go to this one when we're traveling in the area. That's how great they are we love stopping there we love eating there and we'll even get some extra stuff to take home for another meal. Waitresses are are fantastic.“
