“Best breakfast in town. Just be prepared for a little wait (maybe 15 min). Food is fantastic. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. Do not sleep on the side pancake! It takes up an entire plate! So worth it - just a $2 upgrade from toast. A great pairing with a savory entree like a Shipwreck (my go to). This is a hole in the wall so be prepared for a tight environment, but from my experience, all the best breakfast places seem to be like that. :)“

“Such a wonderful down home atmosphere! The staff were lovely…. Very helpful… chatted with us when we asked questions and showed interest in the place. Friended several patrons as we ate. It was fun! The food was wonderful!!! Definitely going back next time I’m in town. Highly recommend them!!! ♥️♥️♥️“

“Carlos O'Kelly's is one of our favorite restaurants. We used to have one in Ames and they no longer have it so we go to this one when we're traveling in the area. That's how great they are we love stopping there we love eating there and we'll even get some extra stuff to take home for another meal. Waitresses are are fantastic.“
