“This is my "go to" place in Cedar Rapids. The food is always good no matter what you pick, the atmosphere is nice, the drinks are good and so is the service. When someone is looking for a place to eat, this is most always my suggestion.“
“Came here for a Chicago style Italian beef sandwich and it was one of the best I’ve had!When I walked up to the restaurant I noticed a man with a cane sweeping the public sidewalk outside with great detail. He was dressed classy and I could tell he was likely the owner. Sure enough he came through the restaurant checking on the patrons. I learned that he is a Marine vet and owns the restaurant with another Marine vet.The sense of pride he has in caring for his business and serving his customers is a rarity these days.“
“They catered my boyfriend's work picnic. Loved that they have a mobile fire-brick pizza oven. They set right up and got to making delicious, toasty pizza for us all! The owners are very personable and enjoyed chatting with them a bit. 5 Stars all around!“
“As is often the case with chain resturants, the portions are just way more than I tend to eat. For some folks, a doggy bag is an expectation - for me, it means I was overserved.A lighter pasta offering would be welcomed by me - a simple white wine and garlic sauce on linguini, for example - but I tend to eat a little lower on the food chain.I wouldn't choose Olive Garden for myself, but we do take my mom here because it's her favorite - and that does have great value.“
“Food, excellent. Price, a little bit high. Atmosphere in the dining area, a 3.5 out of 5. The lounge/bar area would be a 5 If it weren't for the ripped and frayed booths. This should an easy fix when charging 13 bucks for a drink, 15 for an appetizer, and 30 for a meal. The service was a bit on the slow side. The server wasn't very personable. When the $190 bill came, he set it on the table and without a word, walked away. No, "Thank you for coming.", or "Have a nice evening." Nothing. The drinks were slightly overpriced but VERY good.“
“Simple, yet elegant. Our food was flavorful and prompt. Drink selection was ample, and the garlic breadsticks were the perfect addition to our meal. We got the lasagna and the tiger shrimp dish. You have to end with chocolate cake and coffee- the best around! We will definitely be back!“

“Great place. Nice clean inside. The wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on the way home from a conference. Got the Chicken Alfredo dinner and it was plenty of food to share between the two of us!!! We share a lot of meals, but salad, bread sticks and a FULL plate of pasta. Very nice meal.“
“So I do love the pasta, always have! Today I tried the coffee because 1st ave always talks about the awesome coffee items added to the menu since being vias(instead of zios) but wow it’s horrible! The frappe is a very weird consistency like it’s being made in a cheap blender that can’t blend ice, it also taste like slim fast and burnt coffee had a baby. Disappointed, I was really hoping to add new things to my list of what to get from here“
“I’ve been going to Zio’s since I was little. My mom would walk me downtown to have a pizza bread and some spaghetti. Then when I was a teenager, it was a staple. The taste of the spaghetti and bread and gondolas instantly take me back. Always loved it, always will!!Kid-friendliness: What little kid doesn’t like Zio’s?“
“This has been by far the easiest 5 star review I've left of any restaurant! Everything from the food, to the service and the environment of the restaurant was nothing short of top notch. Bari was better than restaurants 1.5 times the price in every way and it's also great to know that they're local to Cedar Rapids. If you're looking for the perfect date night or a fantastic spontaneous dinner look no further! I am truly amazed by the dining experience I had there. The only critique I would add is that I would have liked to see the desserts listed on the main menu. And yes, the desserts were out of this world too!“
