“This is my favorite place to eat when I come home from college. We get a 1/2 gallon of spaghetti and garlic bread, and it is ALWAYS warm and delicious. The food is very reasonably priced and always something to look forward to when I'm home! The staff is friendly and very prompt with fulfilling orders (in-store OR pickup).“
“Your pizza was so good. The crust was great. There was no problem at all doing the thing on line, which I was somewhat skeptical about. Also it was still nice and warm when we got it home. Thanks for such a good experience. It was the best pizza that we ever had. Good work. Keep it up. We are satisfied customers. Thanks“
“Lasagna was good. Prime rib was tough and bland. The salads were good. The peas were good. The tiramisu was good as well as the brandy alexander. The salads had a tiny about 1 1/2 inch piece of crusty cheese bread. (very small portion) and the lasagna had two pieces of dry, crusty bread without much flavor. For “Italian” food, the meal was served with sparse, tasteless bread. The waitress was very attentive and had excellent manners. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.“
“Outstanding!! Nice little jewel in downtown Waterloo. This was our first time here. The staff was amazing and the food was excellent. Loved the painting. Great place to enjoy a nice date night. Can’t wait to see what’s on the Jan/Feb menu.“

“Our waiter Elijah was very good they were very busy due to state pee wee wrestling going on. Definitely has good work ethic.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly for as many kids that were there they didn't get rude not once about any of the children.“
“VI has survived at a location that relies on nothing but hard work and determination to survive. A mall food court pizza joint without the mall that has that corn fed Midwest blandness that isn’t bad just something the taste buds won’t remember and the ambience of an elementary school cafeteria during spring break. He’s doing something right to bring people back cause it’s practically the only reason people go to the mall besides walking and the massage chairs I suppose. The revolving door of other hopefuls starting the restaurants only to be taking down the crayon menus months later as it’s a hard sell to get people in the old mall food court to enjoy a meal with dystopian late 90’s all around you. Villa Italian pizza is mediocre at best but his customer service is top notch. My lunch was a slice, salad and soda 10$ for all. Reasonable in todays world I guess but it didn’t help with those bland feelings as I walked to a empty mall parking lot trying to organize my thoughts as to why nothing has been done to make College Square more than what it is now a cemetery plot. Someone will eventually think outside the box and get creative with the space so people will have a reason to venture on besides earrings, massage chairs and walking in their old age because they didn’t earlier. Keep on keeping on Villa Italian. You may not be my favorite but I respect your hard work and dedication to your business that survives in a mall that has stood mostly empty since capitalism started to nickle and dime the middle class into poverty. Enjoy! Be Nice!Keep it local and swing into a dead or dying mall. It maybe brought back to life after downtown rents are to much and the circle of capitalism finds its way back to the mall.Parking: Empty mall parking lot with to many options for the amount of stores.“
