“WOW. We had such a great experience at Lacayo. First, THIS IS NOT ANOTHER MEXICAN RESTAURANT. This is Latin American cuisine and it’s one of the best places in Cedar Rapids. Everything is so flavorful, it’s all made in house (even the tortillas), and the service is wonderful. We had a meal with friends and enjoyed it so much, we went back for brunch the next day. Looking for a brunch spot that doesn’t just offer the same standard breakfast items but packs tons of flavor? This is your place. You have to get the tamale. The sauce is out of this world. Will be returning and bringing friends and family to share in the experience. This place is a must if you’re going to be dining out in Cedar Rapids.“
“The establishment is a beautiful theater with a bar. They're open for just having beverages, and later in the evenings, they have live performance shows. If you want to see the live performances you must buy tickets. It is a very pleasant atmosphere. Sundays, they have free Open Jam session opening with a house band. Musicians encouraged to bring an instrument & sign up to perform in the Open Jam. Excellent opportunity for musicians to build experience performing live with other musicians. Musicians come perform & become a part of the local musicians community!“

“This has been by far the easiest 5 star review I've left of any restaurant! Everything from the food, to the service and the environment of the restaurant was nothing short of top notch. Bari was better than restaurants 1.5 times the price in every way and it's also great to know that they're local to Cedar Rapids. If you're looking for the perfect date night or a fantastic spontaneous dinner look no further! I am truly amazed by the dining experience I had there. The only critique I would add is that I would have liked to see the desserts listed on the main menu. And yes, the desserts were out of this world too!“
“My choice for dinner was the Pasta Primavera, which was delicious with a wonderfully flavorful sauce and veggies that were cooked just right. The Limoncello cake was moist and heavenly. The server was attentive, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the cosy ambiance and music.Vegetarian options: Crosby’s has a few vegetarian options. The one that I tried was delicious. Pasta Primavera.Parking: I found several available free street parking spaces, including one directly in front of the restaurant ! (5:00 pm)“
“I have gone here a couple of times now for lunch and am impressed! They have some unique menu items and both things I have tried so far are really good. The green goddess bowl with pulled chicken is AMAZING and I will be back for another of those!I have also has a couple of cocktails here too. They are a little pricey, but worth it as they are very good as well.The atmosphere is very open, modern and inviting.Even if you don't go here to play pickleball, the food and drinks are great!(Our server was the same one both times I have been there and could use a personality and check back to the table to see if we needed anything)“
“Always have a nice time....a bit disappointed in Denny today....he pulled my can of Bud Light from my spot with 40% of beer in it....never asked if I was done or had 'enough' or anything! I speak English so if YOUR bartender has a communication PROBLEM maybe YOU need a NEW ONE??? Good grief....I'm always VERY POLITE and NICE and I don't deserve THAT...and NO it was not that busy that he made a mistake....Every Customer is valued or your bar isn't at ALL....? :(“
“Another great meal at Bo Mac's! I didn't get a picture of the creole chicken wrap and fries (too hungry, lol). The wrap was very good but those fries.....I think the best I have ever had. And, I usually do not splurge on dessert, but decided on their homemade bread pudding......omg, seriously this was amazing.“

“350 First - DoubleTree by Hilton | Cedar Rapids, Iowa I haven't been here in nearly 5 years and it's honestly a shame! I'm also shocked there aren't more posts about it. The food was absolutely outstanding. My Beef Short Rib was juicy and seasoned just right. The carrots were perfectly cooked with a hint of crispness. A tad pricey, but well worth it IMO. Cajun chicken was good as well. Drinks were spot on. The French 75 was strong as it should be and I had a drink special that was basically a whiskey sour with soda water. Very good indeed. The view is KILLER. My wife will post some of her sunset pictures in the comments. Service was outstanding. The menu is great in that there is a $17 burger, but also some pricier "cheffy" stuff.“
“We were there on a Thursday for lunch. The place was packed but we found a table in back. My husband had biscuits and sausage gravy, and he said it was delicious! I had a tenderloin and fries and they were very good. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. The food came out hot and in a timely manner. We will definitely be back.“
